Any chance the House will repeat what happened Monday and vote this thing down? I just emailed my representative (Boustany) and asked him to vote against this irresponsible legislation.

So whos using the Constitution writing out the warrants tonight for the piss poor excuse of a senate? Who is serving the warrant? And can WE THE PEOPLE sue them not only in Federal but also in Civil court?

Maybe OJ will get a new bunk mate.

Is there a vote of no confidence or impeachment we can use to get rid of our senators or is it only re-election time?

Get your passports ready. They not only added $150 B to the bill, but also added some pork, wooden arrows for kids? mental health exams for your kids? (that would make the pharmacutical companies happy), and whatever nonscence they decided to "make it more attractive". Was this a vote on a crisis or a pork roast?

This cannot pass the House.....Call your congressman every day, several times a day....but get the message through.....NO BAILOUT.

Indictments for the crooks and sell their assets to fund a bailout. Starting with Barnie Frank and Paulson!

Paulson certainly should not have a blank check, with no interference by congress as to where it is being spent.

Senators think themselves above the law and above reproach from the common reprobate constituency that elected them. No matter. There are many more of us than there are of them, and they have no allegiance other than themselves. Let's send all of the pro bailout voters packing. They are not fit to hold office of any sort.

Now if I'm not mistaken, right at the end there, after "mr. president" read that the Yeas have it. Then we saw a senator stand up alone and say that he voted in the majority so he wants to enact the right to reconsider the bill they just passed (the financial bailout bill) I believe this is a parlimentary manouver, by voting in the majority because you know it's going to pass, even though you really mean to vote No, you secure the right to reconsider it. I think this is right, anybody else have a better insight into this?

Just left a voicemail with my representative asking him to vote "NO" on Friday. I have a feeling that his voicemail box will be full by morning. I swear my Senators' left their voicemails full just so they wouldn't have to take angry calls. Get your messages in while you still can!

All I see is just name callings. Have they voted on the bail out bill yet? Is it just me or is the sound muted, and then unmuted on and off?

It was a litany of laws, oversight and regulation that had been proposed and ignored over the past several years that would have prevented or at least mitigated this financial disaster. It should be a) saved for posterity and b) sent to every Congressman.
