It was obvious this bill was goin to fly thru the Senate. The Senatraitors have been bought and paid for.
The house is most likely going to pass it. Keep emailing and calling.. of course. But don't get mad when they don't listen.
The fuhrer will sign it into law.
Then what?
We need to be thinking in advance. Constant babble about being pissed is to simple. Examine the entire picture and provide solutions just as methodically as they have planned this debacle.

Maybe it is a routine thing. But I have never seen this routine before. It's to coincidental. So why would they be running these excercises when the economy is collapsing?
Because they expect and want an outraged citizenry. They want chaos. Remember their motto: Out of chaos... order.
SO what can we really do? Other than typing emails and calling these cretons what can we do? Really do?

It's time to get recall petitions from each secretary of state and start getting signatures to recall any congressman or senator that votes yes. The only way to change the power structure is to remove these people from office. Everything else is just BS talk.
HOW ABOUT A SIGN WAVE DAY!
Go out and get some materials. Make big signs stating how you feel or what would be effective in getting your point accross and go stand by the highway.

I was pretty angry earlier
I was pretty angry earlier today and used my energy to call Senator's offices to oppose the bailout along with thanking those who voted against the bill or who said that they would oppose the bill in the Senate. Later in the day, I called up Obama's campaign office and asked the woman if she heard that Obama committed suicide and she seemed a bit surprised by my words and then I continued and said that he just committed political suicide and lost my vote. hahaha.
I agree with the person posting here, let's chill out and take a deep breath. You cannot win the war in just one battle. What we have already accomplished is incredible and yes, we have another two days of battle before the House brings this bill back up. Even though these politicians lack the fortitude to understand what they are doing, just remember, they are their own worst enemy.
I know that there are unintended consequences for their actions and when this bailout bill passes, just watch how many people decide to stop paying their house payments, credit cards, student loans, income taxes, and start preparing to stock up on food and provisions as we have 3-6 months before the economy collapses and I know we all can use a little more time to prepare when that happens as the winter is appearing and we don't want to freeze to death at Valley Forge. ;)

Just get a table and disseminate info and talk to people that way. It's cheap and could pay off. I have been too busy and am very broke to do it right now. But once I get a chance I will. I also want to start makin signs for some educational web-sites... Dailypaul.com or whatever is best. Stick stickers everywhere and hang out signs could be good.

everything is suppose to be great now, right? Go get those cars, crank up your "small business." This is all for the American person on the street, so we's out of the woods. The economy is healed. Yea-bo.
Focus a lot of attention...
On those who voted "yes" last time. It could be that they are simply misinformed or think it' stoo complex to understand and are deferring to Paulson/Bush judgment.
Many are bought and paid for... But there is a chance. If you have a Dem, use the DailyKos article points when speaking and reference the DailyKos. If you have a Rep, then use the party platform, maybe even throw a few "go troops, kill Iraquis" to soften them up. That always cheers up the Republicans.
Also, point out that China will be offloading their bad debt on US corps on Monday, and on Tuesday, that debt will be offloaded onto us. There are a million points. Reference specific items in the bill. Maybe even say that you would consider it ok if these few points are changed.
Targeting the Yes votes to maybe change some to an initial No, may buy us some time at worst, or actually win us the vote.
But we HAVE to be on the offensive. They only have a few to win over to win, so we must solidify the No's AND work REALLY hard on the Yes's.

I actually converted one to a die hard Paul supporter that way..
this was my favorite convert. He started talking about the war and I responded a little like this (very sincere):
"Oh yeah, no, I think the war is important to. I mean, the more of those crazy [insert racial slur here] dead the better. I think we shoulda probably turned the whole place to glass. But, then again, this probably works out better anyway because this way it kinda thins the male population out back here giving me the extra benefit of less competition with the ladies."
He is staring at me in shock the whole time, and I looked at him like "What did I say? Surely you know what I am saying." kinda look...
After he got over the shock, and paused for a second, he immediately reconsidered his Ron Paul position, and after a day of research became a die hard, including a lot of donations.
The trick is you have to sound sincere. It forces them to re-examine their own barbaric behavior and attitudes.
