Don't bother responding sir. You have shown your true colors Senator and should be ashamed of yourself. The socialistic agenda you are wrecklessly embarking on will ensure your defeat the next time you seek any public office. This is a whole new world you have decided to ignore and we are going to work tirelessly to remove individuals who have chosen to ignore the principals our founding fathers fought and sacrificed so much for. Representing the state of Pennsylvania, the birthplace of freedom, should certainly mean more to you than it obviously does.
I only hope that after you are removed from office your offspring have to pay the same price you have sentenced mine to. Those bankers, you seem so obliged to rob the populace for, care only about one thing and that is feeding their relentless greed. That sucking sound you will soon hear is going to be the draining of the hundreds of billions of dollars you are handing over to them while they cut and run. These guys are alot smarter than you give them credit for.

…All of their underground bunkers have been built to hide in. They have been buying and storing survival food for years (at taxpayer expense). They have swept up and stored most of the heirloom seeds in underground caverns around the arctic circle. When the stuff hits the fan, they will all scurry away like cockroaches when the light is turned on. All well laid plans can and do go awry. I only hope that we live to see the day when ALL of the traitors and conspirators have their heads displayed on poles lining the full length of the I-10 highway. It's time to get out the torches and pitchforks.

is probably a mute point......his health is failing (cancer has returned a 2nd time). We'll have to watch if/who he'll endorse to take his place.

just called both of mine in DC and let them know they no longer will have any support from me. i bet the poor aides answering the phones have a tally where they keep track of all the angry phone calls. made sure to keep the call short though so that other people could put in their 2 cents.

Well... I don't know whether it was ignorance, gullibility or
corruption (maybe all three?), but apparently one of those led you to
voting for the bailout package. I see your statement:
"I have asked the same question of Secretary Paulson and Chairman

What about the nearly 200 economists who signed a statement saying the
bailout is a bad idea?

What about the thousands and thousands that contacted you to oppose the bill?

Someone recently posted the stats on a web site I read... credit is
not diminishing. For the recent reported week of September, banks are
lending more than they did this time last year. The whole of August
was much higher, too.

Ummm... so you admit not representing your constituents? Why did you
vote for the bill then?

That happened long before the "crisis" and has nothing to do with it.
When there is an enormous OVER build, it has to correct. They built
WAY too many houses because of speculation. That has to slow down.
