I'll bet my ass that the phones are off too. I'm going to keep trying, but my bet is they're using the 'patriot act' to do an "Elliot Spitzer" on these guys. God, I'm getting ready to smack somebody...

Truth is treason in an empire of lies.

Zach Wamp

Ignores the people who called his offices and said they are not the type who have jobs and familys. He said this on Fox business news this afternoon. He will go against the people even though he's up for re-election in 4 weeks.

So is Don Young....apparently...

Young says 'sweeteners' soften his opposition to bill

Alaska Rep. Don Young said Wednesday he is rethinking his opposition to the federal financial bailout bill because of "sweeteners" that include payments to rural areas harmed by the decline of the timber industry and tax breaks to Exxon Valdez litigants."I've not made up my mind," he said Wednesday in an interview.

Complaining that the bill conflicted with free-market principles, the Alaska Republican joined other House members in defeating the bailout plan Monday.

The Senate version of the bill, passed Wednesday night now includes billions of dollars in tax breaks beyond the Wall Street bailout. Alaska Sens. Ted Stevens and Lisa Murkowski voted for it.

The bailout bill also would extend a federal program that expired this week that pays rural counties hurt by the decline of logging on federal land, including many areas of Southeast Alaska.

The bill also would give a tax break to Exxon Valdez plaintiffs, allowing them to average out their punitive damages awards over three years rather than suffer a one-time tax hit from the Internal Revenue Service.

RP2012!

Calling all folks from Tennessee:

If you are from Tennessee, call, fax, or email the living Hades out of this frickin' SOB! Tell him you are going to vote his ass out of office!

Zach Wamp

I am from TN but he is not my rep. but I have already faxed him. Bart Gordon is my rep. and he voted for it the first time so I know he will vote aye again.

Wont hurt to remind Gordon

That the bill he voted on was a much smaller bill... The one they will be voting on this time around is a very bloated 451 pages, and includes earmarks for all kinds of crap!

Bart Gordon Loves Bloat.

You should see his garbage email responses.

OMG!!

VOTE HIM OUT

Sure wish I could.

The only one I can vote against is Lamar Alexander and you bet I will.

Democratic Rep. Emanuel Cleaver of Missouri,

another opponent on Monday, also planned to change his vote to a "yes" the second time around.

Rep. John Shadegg of Arizona, to say he was likely to support the new bill, and another, Steve LaTourette of Ohio, to say he was "getting there."

Rep. Earl Blumenauer, D-Ore., a liberal opponent, is also reconsidering his vote, but is "not on board yet,"

Republican Rep. Jim Gerlach of Pennsylvania is also reevaluating his "no" vote.

Call, Fax, and Email Your Representatives!

And help their opposition get elected if they suck!

I'm helping Mark Mulligan defeat Allen Boyd in Florida's 2nd congressional district - Mulligan is a Ron Paul Republican!
