Time to commit to real change...
Despite that fact that millions of Americans wrote and called to say "no," the traitorous Senate and House (and President) said "yes." It was perplexing. Why? What were they afraid of?
Well now we've found out.
Rep. Brad Sherman of California ( http://www.infowars.com/?p=5061 ) came forward and admitted that some in the House are claiming to have been threatened with marshal law in America if they didn't vote for it. And to back it up, the 1st Brigade Combat Team of the 3rd Infantry, was suddenly, without previous announcement or justifiable reason, redeployed to American soil. (This development is so alarming that even the normally passive and reserved Cato Institute made a statement about it to CNN: http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/10/03/army.unit/index.html?eref=r... )
It is time for a housecleaning! Time to show them that they work for Main Street, not Wall Street.
Based on quick analysis, it looks like there are several Senators who voted "yes" who are in tight races, and perhaps more who are vulnerable. In the House, the analysis is even better. There are over a dozen who are in vulnerable races, where a little bit of effort might make all the difference. And, a number of Senators are also subject to recall (18 states allow of it).
Targeting these so-called "representatives of the people," with print and radio ads highlighting their betrayal, could really make an impact on their chances for re-election -- and put the fear of constituency back into the Washington elite.
Are you interested in making it happen? There isn't much time before the election, so it will take money (quite a bit, things cost more at the last minute) and effort (the same). Can you participate by offering time (to write letters, post to forums, hang door hangers), special skills (web design, copy writing, political analysis, seed capital(!), graphic design, printing) or funds (did we mention money)? Please make a pledge to un-elect these traitors.

I think the correct term is Marshal law
when used to congressional chamber procedures. Unfortunate it has the same sound which sends people into a panic.

I am pretty good with the language, and to my knowledge there is no such thing as "Marshall law" unless you want to say the air Marshall practices Marshall law, or use it that way.
Truth exists, and it deserves to be cherished.

unfortunately, it has taken this whole bailout thing for them to see it. The tide is turning and what is scary is now people are talking about this stuff out in the open to ME - aagghh - these people who would NOT listen to me about Ron Paul during the primaries - my son's preschool teacher, my mother in law, my brother, a cashier at my local grocery store, my ultra liberal sister in law -- every time I turn around someone I know is talking about it how the bailout is criminal and what do I tell them?

I don't think it will happen, but if the peasants and serfs stage a rebellion, I believe it will be in response to the passage of the bill, not its defeat.

You misunderstood what he was saying.
He was saying that on Monday, when they voted against the bailout, people were telling him that if the bailout didn't pass there would be martial law.
But, that didn't happen. So his point was all the fear mongering is bullshit and the House shouldn't be forced to pass a bad bill due to panic because the world is not going to end and the economy won't collapse if they take a few more days to carefully make a better bill.

That is correct and verified - At 8:09 PM on C-Span Representative Brad Sherman of the 27th District of California (Sherman Oaks area) said those who voted against the bailout the first time were spoken to privately and told if they did not vote for the bailout, Martial Law would be enacted. Rep. Sherman did not say when Martial Law would be enacted but that it would be enacted. Obtain transcript from C-Span.

They would turn the entire US against them. It would have huge blowback it would hurt them not congress. The American people are pretty firm on their position. This would probably get impeachment started pretty quickly. I also think the military would backlash on this also. The military would not take to kindly to being used for political purposes. It would prove that George Buch is crazy.
