Recall Senator John McCain

Message surging through Campaign for Liberty meetup.com groups in Arizona. Any advice for obtaining signatures and/or any support is needed!

Goal: Recall Senator John McCain and replace him with a RP Republican

Main Reason: He voted for the bailout. His loyalties do not lie with the American people, especially not with residents of Arizona.

Condensed Version from the Arizona Constitution

Recall Petition:

25% of the votes cast in previous election can sign a petition for the recall of a senator

Details: must make a petition with no more than 200 words stating the reason for recall. There must be name, date, address, and phone number and the person circulating the petition must sign an oath on the sheet saying the signatures are genuine.

After obtaining the signatures:
The law states the candidate must resign within 5 days and if not, there will be a new election in which the ballot will contain a 200 or less statement of the reason for recall and the candidates’ explanation for such actions.

Rules and Conditions:

Section 5:
“After one recall petition
and election, no further recall petition shall be filed against
the same officer during the term for which he was elected,
unless petitioners signing such petition shall first pay into
the public treasury which has paid such election expenses,
all expenses of the preceding election.”

*There was a Recall Petition for Senator John McCain in 2001, but that shouldn’t be a problem because he is currently on his next term.
