Also listening to cspan now, it is cheering me up, lots of Ron Paulites!

And looking ahead into the distance - I am embedding myself within the Republican Party (though I must admit - I want to run and hide from these people and go play with the Libertarians) - I watched the debates with the party leadership at an event here in Tallahassee, FL....

..And WOW - scary - delerious applause for anything Palin said - and loud booing when Biden spoke - If I wasnt there to let everyone know about Mark Mulligan ( who is running for U.S. Congress, FL district 2 & very close in ideology to Ron Paul) I dont know if I would have lasted 10 minutes..

..who won?....well I dont think either did..I liked what Palin had to say about personal responsibility, government not being the solution for everything, and the need to drill for oil...but do I trust her?...not even a little bit...I trust no one who talks like she did concerning foreign affairs (let alone support McCain, and socialism via bailouts)....I didnt hear anything close to what I wanted to hear in regards to foreign policy..they both made me want to move into a bomb shelter.

Now if Darrell Castle, Wayne Root, Rosa Clemente, and Matt Gonzalez had been there..I would have had something to cheer for.

LaTourette is traitor along with rest of them! Interviewed last night on our local FAUX channel, he said at first against the bailout but now changing to yes. News anchor commented later that he claimed calls prior to House vote Monday were 200-1 against. Then said, after market drop after failure, calls against it to LaTourette's office stopped. He's a weasel, scum just like the rest of them!

repeal the whole damned thing and stay out of it altogether. Not unlike separation of church & state. I like the idea of the separation of Wall St. & state.

Look, we're all RP supporters here, but step back and give an honest answer as to who "won" and not spew out "the American People lost."

Here. I'll go first. I thought Biden won.

And I say that b/c Biden pandered less than Palin, among other things.

This was no debate. Of course Biden was better. He has a lot of experience. She was definitely reading her resonses from her glasses and wa shaking like a leaf. She is a well built lady. I liked the side angle. In the talking respect I guess Biden won, in the looking good respect Palin ran away with it. And in the days were living in, isn't that what really matters?

If I bothered to watch two talking heads for the status quo disagree on an issue and STILL both manage to come out on the wrong side of the thing.

Silly... Who won a non-debate is a ridiculous question. They put 2 people up there that have virtually everything in common, gave a little room to disagree on the fine details but no room to disagree on fundamental beliefs and call it a debate?

I have better things to do with my time, like trim nose hairs or clean ear wax out from my daughters hamster (just kidding about that folks, don't try it at home, your child will never forgive you for braining her pet).

Two people/tickets with much in common. That said, if you had to pick one or the other as the "winner", who would it be?

In a way, you repeating our talking points (which are OUR talking points here as third party/true republicans/etc), you are doing what Palin/Biden are doing and repeating their talking points and not answering questions.

If my friends/wife asked me a direct question: "who won it?"

I'd say something like: "You know, it's 2 people from basically the same party disagreeing on minor issues....blah, blah...That said, I think Biden "won" it."

I answered your question. I didn't watch it, so I can't give a thumbs up/down on either of them. I also have no intention of watching on youtube, I really meant it when I said I would rather brain my daughter's hamster.

But I don't need to watch a bird poop to know that they do. Therefore, I can make the basic assessment that I did.

that those of us who didn't actually watch the debate, who instead hung out in the debate open forum. I'm glad I didn't lose some brain cells by watching it. My IQ might never recover. But I did learn about sexism and drinking games, and oh yeah Palin says also..a lot and NukeUlar.

Not as good as seeing Ron Paul make asses out of the neo con candidates, but rather enjoyable. Have a great evening folks...
