IF you have been polled this year, please write a response with the following:
1. State
2. When you were polled
3. Yes or no, was Ron Pauls name an option?
4. and who was doing the polling
We have a sampling of at least 1000 users here. I think we would all like to investigate amongst ourselves what’s going on.
*Please try to keep this as clean as possible, i.e. only post with the bare essentials.

Suprised
I’m actually surprised there is a few of us that have been polled, and in general I don’t think Rons name is being left off. So it’s not so much a conspiracy as just a simple numbers game where we’re not in a very good position.
We don’t have the advantage of name recognition, nor are we attracting the “right” type of people to be successful in these polls, and this will be hard with what is consistently being said.
Looking critically or at least taking a view from the outside, Ron Paul just doesn’t have the name recognition. And if some one has heard of him, all they know was he’s a ‘Liberation” and they wonder what the crap he’s doing on a republican ticket. For every time RP says “I’m more republican then they are,” they are pounded with “he’s a Libertarian!” 400 more times.
Second thing they think is, well he only wins online polls because the Liberals are making a Sanjia(Sp) out of him.
And third, they know he can’t win because that’s what every channel says.
We really are stuck in a hard spot here, unless we can get established republican voters to go for RP in the polls I don’t see us getting much higher than 5-7% even if 30% of the general population would vote for him.
So as successful as we’ve been lately it’s not going to mean a lick unless we focus our efforts in the right direction. We’ve been “fishing for some time now and pulling in a lot, but It’s time to start “hunting” for specific voters.
I was polled
1. Ohio
2. August
3. No
4. Lucas County GOP (Toledo)
They were calling at my dad's place and he didn't want to talk to him so I did. They asked what GOP candidate I would most likely vote for and I said Ron Paul. They then proceeded to ask me who I thought would win between Guiliani and Obama, Romney and Obama, McCain and Clinton etc., etc. I said I didn't care and I was voting for Ron Paul regardless.
Typically you are only
Typically you are only polled if you are considered likely to vote which is determined by your previous voting history.
I have not missed an election, primary or general, in over 10 years. Some pollsters use voting rolls and weed out folks who are not frequent voters. This information is readily available in database form from almost every sates department of state.
I have been called and polled several times. Once this year for the presidential race. I live in Pennsylvania. Ron Paul was included and I indicated he was my choice. I believe it was the portrait of america poll which is also know as Rasmussen.

PA Polling
One person in our meetup group was polled as well. They are 55+ and I'm sure have voted in most elections. For some reason I haven't received any poll calls to my Vonage VOIP phone or my mobile? :-)

Jim
PS. Hope to see you all at the Rally this weekend!

I know of no one that's been polled by phone.
I've know of no one that's been polled by phone.
I cant name one person
I cant name one person either that has been polled. Well with only 3-400 people being phoned it doesn't surprise me.
First hand
I guess I’m looking for someone with first hand experience that can explain what they are saying in these phone polls.
I know we have a ton of stories, but does anyone have first hand knowledge? A friend or relative that HAS been polled?
I was polled in October, I
I was polled in October, I live in Michigan and Ron Pauls name was in it, I said I was picking him for the presidential candidate. It was a Rasmussen poll.
