Just called my Rep, they expect this bailout to pass!

Double you efforts. My Congresswoman, who fortunately voted no on Monday, is expecting this to pass. The fire is not hot enough.
She also doesn't know anything about the martial law threats. I demanded an investigation and impeachments if it is true.
This is a call to arms (or phones at the moment)

I called..
my Congressman (David Davis R-TN 1) and he will be voting against the bailout.
Continue to keep that pressure on!!! We don't want this to pass.
Tell her to shut off the T.V and think.
Call and tell her not to fear their threats, fear is for fools and a weapon of tyrants.
What if the government was unable to sell more Treasury bills? What if China and Japan began to sell? Wouldn't the Treasury be forced to mint money? Then we would have a commodity backed currency, although copper isn't my idea of the best, it is still better than paper debt.
Seems to me that if we want to take power away from the elite who benefit from the Federal government, then people need to stop holding and investing in T-bills and put wealth in their own bank. An investment in T-bills empowers the elitists controlling the Federal government. Remember T-bills are just paper, just like FRNs. Withdrawling our investment is their biggest fear. Holding onto T-bills locks up dollars as they say. I suggest investing in something other than T-bills such as your local economy, food, supplies, silver and gold. These items stimulate our economy and the individual is empowered. But, what the hell do I know?

They are between a rock and a hard place
If they vote for the bailout ,mainstreet (who has only seen the market rally back after the 1st was voted down) will be taking to the streets in some places and the fallout will be enormous. If they vote "no" , the real effects of THAT decision will start to manifest themselves as well. Either way October '09 will be an America you wont recognise.
