Their argument for the bailout is "if the house is on fire, you don't ask why". Why didn't Peter say "Yes, the house is on fire and you gave the arsonists more fuel and getaway car!"

Both the Troll and Peter agreed that more will be needed. Peter is saying if we give them control now and pour $ in we wind up with a hyper-deflationary end and complete control by the Gov't. The troll is saying we need to accept the inflation caused by dumping more money in now and giving control to the Gov't to handle this. Then at least we eat and don't get 30% unemployment like the great depression. But giving control....socialism (I add with shareholders....)

let's get this on digg and reddit as soon as it becomes available. I've been thinking that we will really benefit from making strong public predictions about the near future as they will inevitably be true and they will stand in stark contrast to the socialist arguments. As things get worse they will only say that the government didn't intervene fast enough or strongly enough and of course now we need even more intervention but all of their predictions will continue to be wrong and ours will continue to be right. The fact that Schiff and Paul have become regular guests on these shows lately gives me at least some hope for our cause.
