Create New Account Disabled???

...as a result of the spamming??? Probably a good idea. Can anyone confirm that it has been disabled? I think this is critical to the site's security for the next few days.

Well i guess that's good. Still, it seems like the create new account feature being put back online anytime soon is just inviting the spammers back.... but I'm just an underling around here, so I'll leave it up to the big guys. Was Mike the only one able to block accounts before this incident?

it was like we had users lined up to get in. Best guess is it was a minor issue, happens on thousands of forums often, people are used to it. Lmao, even if there were a few, I think it was pretty obvious it wasn't a daily occurence here, and that it was just some malicious idiot with a wild hair up their ass and a bunch of beers in them.
