*** Letting Bad Posts Die ***
I know it's really tempting to respond to the plethora of enticing and juicy postings which are sprinkled about at the DP but please take pause. A lot of these postings are listed to "divide and conquer" us here at DP. They suck out our collective energies to focus on trite subject matters (mostly personal attacks and endless logic loops).
Point 1: If you see a posting which is divisive in natural (on purpose
to incite or inflame all of us) please ignore it. Let it die as quickly as possible.
Point 2: The cause of liberty and freedom are never served by endless rants of negativity, especially from behind a keyboard.
Point 3: To try and battle mindless, immature troll-ish posts consumes valuable time and precious energy away from the real purpose --- TO CONVEY INFORMATION AND STRATEGY.
Be watchful and please refrain from the knee jerk reaction to respond to nonsensical questions and posts. Good night and good luck.

with a caveat: Not all "negative posts" are really negative posts - it is one of us, having a crappy day. I believe it is good for us to have a place to voice the real issues we face, even "within the ranks." And I believe it IS healthy for "newbies" to see it. They get to see people making all the decisions in secret already, lets give them a taste of how freedom of speech really works. Stupid comments get drummed out, creative thinking is encouraged.
Just to be divisive - lol!

Yeah I can see your resisting that temptation read hard.
If you disagree with a thread don't post on it at all. Find a thread that agrees with what you believe should be going on.If your waiting for the whole world to believe the same way you've got a long wait. Gardening post have divided people on this site as much as religion. Not the subject but their is always one bussy body in the group that comes out and says the site isn't going my way why do we have garden post on Daily Paul. I hate to tell you that is when the division begins everytime. Usualy all subjects on this site have people who wish to talk about them its only when the first busy bodies comes along and wants to censor that we have a division. Also I do not need anyone telling me which post I can go into and talk on. I believe that it's each persons right to choose that don't you.
I think I have only seen a couple times someone who was religious complain about the division caused by an atheist thread in the last year and usually it is a new person on the site that gets offended but they usually leave. But I have seen gobbs and gobbs of Atheist complaining over the division of some religious type threads. I am a Christian and some days I won't even go into a thread with the word atheist in the tile unless the post is made by someone that I think is a far person and even if I don't like the thread I do not come out of the thread saying that is too divisive I either stand my ground inside the thread or I just move on to other things. Thats the good thing about Daily Paul there are plenty threads for a person to go into. We even have some of those dreaded religious threads here.
