Men Who Died Giving Us This Freedom--What would they think of us today??

YOU MUST READ WHAT ADVICE ONE OF THIS NATIONS FOUNDERS HAD FOR US RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW!!!!

http://gunshowonthenet.com/index.html

"If the representatives of the people betray their constituents, there is then no resource left but in the exertion of that original right of self-defense which is paramount to all positive forms of government . . . The citizens must rush tumultuously to arms..."

- Alexander Hamilton, Federalist #28.
---------------------------
"The opinion of the Federalist has always been considered as of great authority. It is a complete commentary on our Constitution; and is appealed to by all parties in the questions to which that instrument has given birth. Its intrinsic merit entitles it to this high rank; and the part two of its authors performed in framing the constitution, put it very much in their power to explain the views with which it was framed..."

- Chief Justice John Marshall, U.S. Supreme Court, Cohens v. Virginia (1821).
----------------------------------
"Also, the conditions and circumstances of the period require a finding that while the stated purpose of the right to arms was to secure a well-regulated militia, the right to self-defense was assumed by the Framers."

- Chief Justice John Marshall, U.S. Supreme Court. [As quoted in Nunn v. State, 1 Ga. 243, 251 (1846); State v. Dawson, 272 N.C. 535, 159 S.E.2d 1, 9 (1968).]
------------------------------------------
"The defense of one’s self, justly called the primary law of nature, is not, nor can it be abrogated by any regulation of municipal law. This principle of defense is not confined merely to the person; it extends to the liberty and the property of a man: it is not confined merely to his own person; it extends to the persons of all those, to whom he bears a peculiar relation -- of his wife, of his parent, of his child, of his master, of his servant: nay, it extends to the person of every one, who is in danger; perhaps, to the liberty of every one, whose liberty is unjustly and forcibly attacked. It becomes humanity as well as justice."

- James Wilson, 'Of the Natural Rights of Individuals', 1790-1792 (Signed the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution, Congressman, Delegate to the Constitutional Convention and U.S. Supreme Court Justice).
---------------------------------------
"From among the rights retained by our policy, we have selected those of self defense or bearing arms, of conscience, and of free inquiry, for two purposes; one, to shew the vast superiority of our policy, in being able to keep natural rights necessary for liberty and happiness, out of the hands of governments; the other, to shew that this ability is the effect of its principles, and beyond the reach of Mr. Adams’s system, or of any other, unable to reserve to the people, and to withhold from governments, a variety of rights."

- John Taylor, Revolutionary Soldier and U.S. Senator, (1792 – 94, 1803, 1822 – 24). [An Inquiry into the Principles and Policy of the Government of the United States: Section the Sixth; THE GOOD MORAL PRINCIPLES OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE UNITED STATES, (1814).]

MY GOD... WHAT ELSE MORE DO YOU/WE NEED.. A lightening bolt from the heavens...to strike us ... the ghosts of the founders to wake us up at night .... WHAT MORE DO YOU/WE NEED???!!!

i don't think they will EVER really understand it. but they will be REALLY pissed off.

i would suggest getting as many police and military personnel educated as much as possible. 'cause what's coming down the pipe... we'll want THEM to be on our side.

If I were to put into words what they think Micheal would give me the boot!

"The two weakest arguments for any issue on the House floor are moral and constitutional"
Ron Paul

I must say of all the people I have met... you are one of the

few whom has worked their ass off to save this nation more...

as a delegate in St Paul you rallied more to get 5 states to sign up to nominate Dr.Paul from the floor, than almost anyone else...

If we only could have a few more people like yourself... our nation will be so much easier to save...

so please do not not beat yourself up so bad... you are a true hero..and a most valuable asset to the ongoing revolution in our nation...

it came to my attention last week

that there is another Rocketman here.
if i'd known when i signed up i'd have used another
handle. took me 6 tries to pick a name that "wasn't" taken.
i'm sure the other Rocketman will appreciate your kind words.

oh... well at least I know now...

You can use "search" at the top to confirm that.

Just type the other username in and see if he comes up.

Dr. Paul couldn't have said

Dr. Paul couldn't have said it better that time when he said this: "Our founding fathers would be ashamed of us for what we're putting up with!"

Exactly.

We should be ashamed.

People whom hold the

People whom hold the "Founders" so dear are our enemies. Their have ALWAYS been evil men alongside good men. the Constitutional Convention was no exception.

We should keep in mind, there were 74 Delegates to the Constitutional Convention. A Simple Majority would have required 38 signatures. Only 55 Delegates were left at the end of the Convention, for various reasons. But on final signing, there were only 39 signatures. This does not reflect that some kind of Glorious Law had just been created. It reflects that they continued to make small compromises until JUST ENOUGH would sign.

It should also be noted that the Constitution was UNLAWFULLY ratified. The Articles of Confederation CLEARLY require ALL states to agree, not 9 out of 13, but they wrote into the NEW Constitution, that had not yet been accepted, that ratification of the NEW Constitution only required 9 of 13. And so they used the NEW Law, which was not yet effective, to pass the New Law which was not yet passed.

It is VERY CLEAR that had the Law been followed, considering that only 52% of the Delegates could agree on the New Constitution, the New Constitution would NEVER have passed in accordance with the Law that was in effect.

Aa-ha

Just goes to show that even then there were bad men in positions of influence seaking to prevent something great.

I believe this fight

will be won or lost by one man armies. Our founders did not have the technology and other gadgets looming over them like a giant eye. This war will be fought by people who one day decide what they will do and then do it. There will be no rah,rah to get them together because there is no one to trust. There will be no getting together because that is what the enemy wants. It makes their job easier. Just my two old cents.

Prepare & Share the Message of Freedom through Positive-Peaceful-Activism.

actually ... you are part right.. its not that there is no one

to trust ..its just there are so few...

there will be a 1000 mini armies spring up all over the nation.. and they will all just watch the news and see who strikes what ... once one mini army strikes the others will each take that as a sign for them to act.. you cant stop a 1000 (or thousands) of armies each operating independantly of each other ,but eacht with the same goal...

--END THE FED

-- RETURN TO GOLD/CONSTITUTIONAL MONEY

-- RETURN US TO A CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC

-- MAKE / CREATE AN ENVIRONMENT WHERE THE GOVERNMENT FEARS US AND RESPECTS US ONCE MORE...

--- FEEL FREE TO ADD TO THIS LIST.....

I read this somewhere and don't remember who wrote it, but ...

"Not armies, not nations have advanced the race; but here and there, in the course of ages, an individual has stood up and cast his/her shadow over the world!"

One day, one day soon we all will individually stand up and cast a long shadow and save ourselves. It has to be!

I would agree that One Man

I would agree that One Man Armies is THE ONLY WAY this fight will be won. People need to stop fighting for the freedom of "The Nation" and begin fighting for their Inalienable Right to live under the EXCLUSIVE Domain of Natural Law, which is to say Under the Rule of the Creator, not under the Rule of Man and his Statutory Law.

I understand your frustration, Jdayh

But we must all remember that most people...are average. And most pursue that "averageness" with everything they've got--accepting virtually everything, questioning nothing and willing, if pushed, to vilify anyone who dares to question the status quo. For goodness sake--people thought Ron Paul was/is a kook. Can you imagine???

Well, the status quo is coming to a hard stop--and soon. And the nice, but average dopey dopes we call our fellow citizens will, with eyes rolling, shake themselves and ask, "What happened?" And those of us out in the wilderness all these years will get very little satisfaction from saying, "Told ya so..."

I don't know...I'm very frustrated myself...and way too cynical for my own good.

Yes .. you are right...

the best thing to do..is to form a group.. a core group.. that thinks and believes like your self...

"We are over-taxed and over-regulated, the founding fathers would be ashamed of us for what we're putting up with!"
- Ron Paul

They themselves went through a "fiat money" depression...

Caused by the paper money created from "nothing" (other than a promise to repay in the future) by the Continental Congress and the various State Legislatures... Hence the phrase "not worth a Continental." (And their were other previous "paper money" experiments, which typically worked for a while, then got out of hand and ultimately failed).

In addition, they had also already experienced having soldiers quartered in their homes, pillaging their cities, etc.

But none of that stopped THEM from making similar errors themselves (Alien & Sedition Acts of the Adams administration, Washington suppressing the "whiskey rebellion" etc).

The founding fathers were most certainly NOT omniscient, nor were they perfect saints to be worshiped.

What they were, was men who had themselves made or experienced many of these disastrous policies and actions multiple times.

They tried their best to come up with a system (actually two systems, the first having failed within a little more than a decade -- and indeed multiple more systems if you count the various state constitutions, etc) -- and came up with a fairly good one... but with several significant "gaping holes" that were later used to drive massive changes through.

i propose the gaping holes were to be plugged

by the people. we have allowed it to happen, albeit unwittingly.

"The two weakest arguments for any issue on the House floor are moral and constitutional"
Ron Paul

thanks for that reminder...

I have not read that in awhile...

They'd say they were right

and this was bound to happen.

well think what you are saying.... OF COURSE !!!

IF THEY ARE NOT RIGHT ...then all Americans... are dead inside... and there is no Republic to defend ..since all Americans are dead inside----NOT!! WHILE YOU STAND THERE DETERMINING WHO IS RIGHT ...Why don't the few ..who don't want to bow down to slavery organize.... while we still can.. or should we wait to organize after they drag off the best of us into camps..... after they have murdered over a million people or more in some "nazi" horror future....

What would the founders have done?? nothing??? over 8000 people turned out for the original Boston Tea Party... to vandalize a ship.... how many of you/us would be so bold...

...and if you say "well those were different times..." so...what does that mean the Constitution is outdated as well??

Well

I know i dont speak for all but If the new tea party were to happen near me I would be there with bells on. Torch and pitch fork in Tow.
