The 269 - 269 Montana Strategy.
Check out this analysis

When you look at the electoral votes, there is a reasonable likely hood that we could end in a 269 to 269 tie in the electoral college.
That means all states are important, and Ron Paul is on the Ballot in Montana.
What if RP could win Montana ? 269 - 266 - 3, and all three names go to the house of representatives. Imagine what the financial crisis will be like by then. RP wins in a vote of his fellow congressmen.
Yeah I know it is far fetched, but still many good things could come from RP winning Montana.

I wish that was possible.
I wish that was possible.
Sorry guys,...
but this race isn't even close. Look at the manipulated data on the Zogby 50-state website. Or, perhaps even better, look at Dick Morris' electoral map over at NewsMax.
Unless Diebold is as good at stealing as the Fed and the IRS, we can expect an Obama landslide. Given the "Obama Youth," videos, I don't think even Diebold would try to defraud this election. Not unless they want to try to run a business from a pile of rubble.
Besides, if the House won't even make Ron Paul part of its leadership, what makes you think they'd make him "dictator-in-chief?"
I don't know
I don't know there are a lot of McCain Palin signs here in Wisconsin. There is a huge prolife movement that thinks that McCain is prolife and antigun control even though he got an F on his voting record from Gun owners of America. People think he is conservative.
There is also another way
Only about half the states require that Electors vote for the ticket for which they are pledged. In about half the states either an Obama or McCain Elector could flip to Ron Paul. Even if one of the candiates did get a majoriy, if enough electors flipped to bring the winner down to 269, the game would still be on. (Though this is even less likely).
While this situation is unlikely, it could happen. It may be a good idea for an appropriate group, maybe CFL, look into states that do not require Electors to vote for thier pleged candidates. After getting the list of states without the requirement, we would need a list of the Eelectors in those states. At this point the "Hardball" politics would start.
El Dorado
Ssshhhhh!!!!
That's been his strategy all along.
