Will There Be A Re-Broadcast

of this debate?

I'm really enjoying this debate

But, that bell has GOT to go. Also, the ringing telephone.

This sounds like a conference call, which is fine with me. I hope they do it again and again and get the others involved. Where is Nader.

Good question about getting rid of Fed

I think the general public

thinks of a silver or gold based monetary system would take us back to tight money and the kind of life that came after the last depression.

Why doesn't someone go cover that doorbell!!

THATS EXACTLY WHAT IS

THATS EXACTLY WHAT IS NEEDED!!!!!!!!

You sound like a man of conviction. I applaud that. Conviction along may win battles, but it won't win wars. Pragmatism + conviction wins wars.

If you are comparing McCain to Hitler then why aren't you forming an armed group of resisters to stop the genocide? Talk is cheap.

It is true that McCan is a horrible politician, but I believe he loves this nation and what it stands for. Barak Bin Laden on the other hand doesn't.

I am also pragmatic..

I am an elector in my county republican party executive committee...I work as a go-between for groups of people I hope I never have to introduce the other camp too, who share a goal of having the same candidate for congress they are in support of.

I do believe McCain will lead this country into nothing but more war and more debt - but I dont think he stands a chance of winning , so I'm not worried about it - Ron Paul is directing GOP voters to Baldwin, just as Glenn Beck is leading other GOP voters to vote for Barr - while many others just wont vote this year - I was at a young republican debate watching party the other night, and even from that crowd there were more groans than cheers at the end of most of McCains responses.

And to infer that Obama a Muslim is disingenous - I may disagree with eveything the man stands for politically - but I have seen no proof that he isn't Christian.

I see Obama as another Carter - And I'm looking for a Ron Paul version of Reagan to unite the GOP in 4 years.

Obama is probably a Muslim

but who really cares? His religion does not make a difference to me. His policies are what is important. Both McBamas have the same policies with slightly different shades of gray, because both are hand puppets for the elites that run this country.

As for Bush, he pretends religious zealotry to gain support for his radical war-mongering directives. Preemptive war, torture, illegal spying, elimination of habeus corpus, consistent Orwellian rhetoric... It sure seems to me that the comparison between Bush and Hitler is not so far off.

i care

I don't care that he's a muslim. I DO care that he has been lying to every American. Being muslim is political suicide, but honesty is far more important.

Have you

seen any proof that Bush is not Christian?

By their fruits

By their fruits ye shall know them. The fruits of the spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, kindness and self control. The fruits of the devil are the opposite. Well, you tell me, is Bush a Christian?
Christian means Christ like and making Him your Savior and Lord. Is there evidence that Christ is the Lord of Bush's life?

Bush is NOT a christian in the biblical, traditional, definition

Here is what our current President Bush is saying:

President Bush, "Well, first of all, I believe in an Almighty God, and I
believe that all the world, whether they be Muslim, Christian, or any
other religion, prays to the same God. That's what I believe. I believe
that Islam is a great religion that preaches peace." Oct. 4, 2007 (here

http://video1.washingtontimes.com/fishwrap/2007/10/bush_on_c...

here is a Cal Thomas article concerning Bush's belief that all religions worship the same God.

"In an official transcript released by the White House, the president said, "I believe in an almighty God, and I believe that all the world, whether they be Muslim, Christian, or any other religion, prays to the same God." Later in the interview, the president repeated his statement: "I believe there is a universal God. I believe the God that the Muslim prays to is the same God that I pray to. After all, we all came from Abraham. I believe in that universality."

To paraphrase a remark often attributed to the late Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan, everyone is entitled to his or her own faith, but everyone is not entitled to define the central doctrines of that faith. The doctrines of what is called Christianity not only stand in stark contrast to Islam, they also teach something contrary to what the president says he believes.

It is one thing to try to reach out to moderate and sincerely peaceful Muslims. It is quite another to say the claims of your own faith are of no greater importance than the often contradictory claims of another faith. If we all worship the same God, the president should answer the call of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Osama bin Laden, convert to Islam and no longer be a target of their wrath. What difference would it make if we all worship the same God?"

And Bush has what

To do with what in the context of this conversation?

Bush is a very public figure who acts Christian

If you cannot see that he is not Christian, then you are unable to tell when a person is a genuine Christian. The fact is that none of us can tell. BUT, CFR and the elites who are running this country, of whom Obama is one, notoriously say they are Catholic, Jewish, Christian and they are ALL atheist. The Illuminati is Atheist. Bush is Atheist.

I'm not Christian myself,

and I'm definately no fan of Bush or Obama, but how do you know? Have you been to church with them? I was merely saying that calling Obama a Muslim while there is no proof of that - is disingenous.

Does it really matter anyway? I think this issue would be best left to the individual and whoever they wish to worship - or choose not to.

How do I know

That is EXACTLY what I was asking you. You stated that you see nothing that suggests Obama is not Christian. So, I was in effect saying to you, "How do YOU know."

Daughter for Liberty is correct . . .

I've only been reading this site for a few weeks and I've only been a member for a couple of days, so I guess that makes me unqualified to post. Maybe after a thousand thoughtless replies I will be considered legit enough for this forum.

I have been firm in my pro-constitution ideology years before this site became a reality. I didn't need a leader to encourage me then and I don't need one now. I was a free-thinker long before the internet.

For the record: I am 100% behind Dr. Paul's views on the economy and the constitution.

Now that we got that out of the way, those who care to listen lend an ear. I used to skip articles and turn off the TV anytime I knew a liberal had the platform. I have since woken up and realized a lot of what the left fringe has been saying about Bush has a lot of truth. With that said, take the time to listen to some of the wacko liberals out there. We have more in common with them than you think. 80% of what they say may piss you off, but the other 20% may ring true. The same goes for other ideas on this forum, IMHO.

The goal should be to dismantle the two party system using a platform that doesn't polarize. I can't believe I said that because I hated the "big tent" concept that has ruined the republican party. If you rally around the idea of freedom people of all stripes will join in. Once that is acomplished, we can go back to our partisan bickering and folks can support their fuedal ideological lords. We all believe in one thing, and that is freedom.
