What in the world is "Zeitgeist",

and why are so many people on here fascinated (obsessed) with it?

I'm sorry, but. . .

you are on the internet right now. . . look it up.

"98% nutritious. Just like rat poison."

"Its the 2% that gets ya." LMAO.

Alex Jones sums it up pretty well. Zeitgeist Addendum does contain some good info. The "Confessions of an Economic Hitman" stuff was great. Some of the info on money creation (not all) was up to snuff.

But unfortunately, the new age utopian poison in Zeitgeist renders its consumer politically useless.

Man, people get so uppity

Man, people get so uppity when you point out that religion is untrue and downright silly. :)

So. Peter Joseph... Mark Dice... Alex Jones... everyone of these people have said many things I agree with, and many things I don't. It's all good. I take truth where I find it, and discard the rest.

As long as you maintain independence of thought and reach your own conclusions, and then stay open to new contradictory information from then on, you're doing your job.

Though if you come to a different conclusion than me, I'm still gonna raz you. :)

you folks who deride religion and god,

you miss a much bigger point that we are biologically built to communicate very efficiently through symbols

over 5,000 years many powerful symbols have been co-opted and used for evil works

nonetheless, symbolic communication is far more powerful than english

this has nothing to do with god, or religion - but i challenge YOU to imagine a society without a single LOGO! without a single symbol that doesn't represent a complex thought! now if we understand how important symbolic literacy is, we may not be so quick to condemn EVERY SINGLE logo. we may start to understand the true nature of spirituality, as opposed to its human-made distortions.

but logos and symbols are important. the reason many of you are so distrusting is because you have learned that the meaning of certain symbols was kept from you - but you cannot throw out the idea all together. eventually, banning symbols leads quickjly into banning written language. do not proceed down that slippery slope. the sun is a very powerful figure on our earth and in our spirits. just because some who worship it are evil does not make every solar symbol evil. same goes for the moon, and the dragon, and others.

eh, there is such a steep learning curve for many of you.

It's just one possibility...not the end all

I think the main idea to take away is we are giving up all possibilities if we don't let go of the little box they let them keep us in...

There is such a thing as opportunity costs... If you spent $100 to go out on the town... but you could of spent that $100 to buy a winning raffle ticket.... by going out on the town you lost the chance of winning the raffle...

The same goes on here... that $850 billion for the bailout could have done allot of neat things...especially in the hands of a free people but we lost that opportunity...

In regard to collectivism... Ron Paul suggested we follow a foreign policy called non-interventionism... but the media kept saying he was a isolationists... theres a big difference between one mans vision of freedom vs. anothers... collectivism is everyone working for the group... and the group deciding the individuals role.... what I saw was an idea of each person working for themselves but benefiting everyone by becoming exceptional and whatever it is that one does. It's one man's vision... so don't be afraid of it... it's probably beyond our lifetime even if it does become reality

Thank you for

Thank you for differentiating the idea of collectivism with other more evolutionary stances which still deal with group dynamics! I've posted so much on here about powerful group processes that could revolutionize the way communities deal with problems(like economic fallout on the national scene) and then I get called a Collectivist, Communist, Obama Kid, etc

I'm not done watching the Addendum, but I do know that the work of Jacque Fresco is amazing stuff and very free-thinking. He despises regimented society and instead looks to nature(you know, that thing that god made?) and see the amazing diversity there, and yet notices how everything works together. . .

I agree... we should not be here to debate the religious aspects

of any religion...

unless people start getting in the habit of finding the truth... they will be running around in circles forever... and that to me sounds like what the powers that be would be very happy with...

When it comes to philosophy have at it... but don't attack an idea because you can't get past the facts...

There is a difference between facts (truths) and opinions...

I admire the man for having the courage to say things that so many other people fear.

It's like the story of the person that lived in a jail cell for many years... then found out the door wasn't locked... most people choose to stay because they fear the unknown... but there are a few that will step out...

What are you talking

What are you talking about?

The guy made up a bunch of bullshit.

He basically said that money is the root of all evil, so we need to drop the CFL, and adopt Krisna so that robots will fix everything.

His previous works about other religions have zero bearing on how stupid this whole philosophy is in itself.

A revelation, for me anyway.

Both David Icke and Peter Joseph are shills. They present very eloquintly an esoteric truth that is threatening to become common knowledge, and combine it with absurdity. This is a sneaky disinformation tactic. I'm sure this is a ploy to discredit the truth in rational and or religious minds.

Exactly what they're doing

It's the only explanation for the end of the movie. Did you see the whole triangle hand with the sun thing? What was that about? I don't see why they would expose the esoteric agenda then use it's symbolism in their new movie. Didn't sit right with me. You think they were paid off by masons or occult? I don't know, I just don't get why they went this collectivist route.

It's hard to believe.....

a sun worshiping comminist lizard that carries a syringe and a box of RFID chips is actually the man behind the curtain.

Henry Kissinger?

.

lol

Oh man that was rich

Don't be afraid of ideas...

I suppose you were mad when you found out Santa wasn't real ... but deal with it and move on... the truth ... your truth ... is the key...

There's nothing wrong with being religious... all this guy is saying is don't be fooled... he's trying to do you a favor... to think for yourself... stand on your own two feet...

As for the robots... it's just an idea...one of many... the key is we are giving up all the potential and possibilities of the future if we remain children and don't use our own brains.

We are not really here to

We are not really here to debate whether Christ is real or not, we are here to support the CFL, so that we are all free to believe whatever we want.

How is Zeitgeist asking us to all drop the CFL and adopt the "communal cosmic consciousness" any less theocratic then if someone asks us all to drop the CFL and adopt Jesus as our personal lord and savior?

So what if they try to sweeten the deal with nifty robots, they are still just a retarded cool-aid cult.

LOL!

Kool aid isn't even Kool anymore! LOL!
I agree though, we need to understand we need to unify for our cause, our freedom, and our country.
We can't defend or support the whole world let alone the whole galaxy and cosmos!
F*c*en aye!

Is fear of stupidity...

a bad thing?

Good job Mark Dice!

Zeitgeist was idiotic, anti-individual freedom, and foolishly Utopian!

Why are you people buying the Zeitgeist BS?

Holy Sh*t

Enough with this bullshit venus project. Go join up with Tom Cruise and all the other Wacos who can't seem to grasp reality. The dude who started the Venus Project knows nothing of societies or their needs for individuality and freedom. He is a designer, a futurist and an old guy who probably thought we'd all be cruise'n around in flying cars by now. It's awesome to have people with this kind of vision, no doubt about it, but he isn't my Thomas Jefferson. Those guys Had a vision that includes freedom and includes individuality. That's the vision I'll be fighting for. Thanks, but no thanks Venus Project.

Do your homework dude.

Do your homework dude. Fresco is all about the individual! It's just that, he sees we also need to work together! He doesn't talk about some collectivist utopia, instead he mimics what is found in the natural world where everything is in constant flux as a result of all individual pieces working with each other for better or worse. . .

People like you are so fucking scared of the idea of people working together yet you fail to see that the Ron Paul Revolution has been a show in Collective Intelligence!!!

"Oh no! He said COLLECTIVE!!!! Quick, get your Ayn Rand books out and your Freedom Force cards!"

I mean, really, get your ideas straight, don't be afraid of the idea that people can work together in groups, communities, and society and yet still maintain their individuality!!!

Exactly!

Venus Project = BS!

Okay I'm gonna use my stage name here

Sentinel says that I've liked alot of what Mark Dice and Alex jones have done for the awakening of people but .............stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they get lost in the religion paradigm every time. Like soldiers to a dying cause they cater to the religious retardation that scares me. I see the boundaries in where they are allowing themselves to go and it really does scare me , You can not allow yourself only a partial insight! You go all the way to the truth or you don't. You cannot accept only partial proven reality when it caters to your needs. GOD DOES NOT EXIST !

When you die you are worm food , get over it and stop being so arrogant.

Stop the NWO....It's just illumi..Naughty !

The Christianity issue is

The Christianity issue is beside the point.

I'm not religious, I don't arbitrarily dismiss the solar Christ theory, but that has nothing to do with how retarded Addendum is.

We do not need to drop all money and political involvement, while we find Krisna so that robots will fix everything.

Anyone with any critical thinking skills whatsoever can see how stupid that is.

This is your future you

This is your future you addendum hatters >>>>>>>>>>>>>> check this out....... now tell me if you dont think he would take your job,,, he is faster smarter and nicer then you !!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0TCJZZdGuHM

Since were back on this movie...

I'm surprised that DPer's like the idea that everyone should have free food and free healthcare and other free basic necessities. Isn't that socialism? I can't see any incentive to working if I don't have to work to provide food and shelter. If we lived in the world they propose, everyone would become fat, dumb, and lazy.

Become?

...I think they're already there. (fat, dumb, lazy)
If people actually had to fend for themselves a little bit, they might actually get in shape, learn things and not waste time.
I don't like "The Venus Project" but I like the idea of sustainability. I don't like the machines scenario either. I fear we already chose that path and we're batteries already. ;}

Zeitgeist: Addendum is brilliant…

Mark Dice is an ignorant ass-wipe.

"It does not take a majority to prevail... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." Samuel Adams

“Just look at us. Everything is backwards; everything is upside down. Doctors destroy health, lawyers destroy justice, universities destroy knowledge, governments destroy freedom, the major media destroy information and religions destroy spirituality”
