Chuck Baldwin on Local Radio in Detroit

I just caught Chuck on wmuz, which is Christian radio in Detroit. The host is Bob Dutko, a fundamentalist, inerrantist, young earth Christian that defends the faith 4 hours daily. Bob is a McCain lackey that brought in Chuck because a caller had asked him why he hadn't. Kind of a bit of a challenge. Bob gave Chuck about 5 minutes and did the interview O'Reilly style. Jumping in and interrupting Chuck's points. He even offered a "Let me give you the last word" only to interrupt and take the last word anyway. This is very much typical for Bob.

Chuck was very effective regardless. He started by saying that Christians need to stand for what is right and let the chips fall. Bob interrupted to say that ethically he doesn't want to in any way contribute to an Obama victory. When Chuck was finally allowed back into the conversation he pointed out that Obama and McCain just are not that much different. Both for the massive bailout and move to socialism. Both supporting the disastrous Fed financial system we have which created the problems we now have. He listed several other great parallels, which Bob did admit made McCain look terrible. But Bob fell back on the fact that McCain chose Palin, which is a step towards something better (yeah, right). Abortion is big for Bob of course. Baldwin pointed out that McCain voted to approve Ginsburg and Breyer. How committed is he to the pro-life cause?

So far Bob is spending the rest of his time today justifying his support for McCain. I think Chuck may have gotten to him a little in his brief time on the show.
