Did you think the whole world would have some revelation that the elite are corrupt... and rise up to fight the oppression?
No.
It's more like a small group of people that will fight the coming changes, waking up small groups along the way who will help us in our endeavour.
Look At The Big Picture
The Daily Paul is just one website out of hundreds that are helping to wake people up. I may visit 15 or 20 different political websites in a day, such as Lew Rockwell, Prison Planet, Antiwar.com, whatreallyhappened.com, etc.
There are other Ron Paul websites out there and other similar(ish) political forums. They all help our cause in a synergistic way.
I see us here as some of the most 'awake' and hardcore political activists on the net (I guess Remnant is my favourite word). We are best when we work as a unit, when we generate new ideas and when we share important information.
Some of the stuff we talk about is way beyond the average Joe, and that's why I rarely recommend this website to newbies. I like to start people off with Lew Rockwell's site and then move forward from there. Hey, that's what Dr. Paul starts his day with :-)
Happy To Be With Like Minded People
When I started on this journey back in the mid-1990's, I honestly thought I was the only one who thought like myself (I was naive). Now, 15 years later, I feel truly blessed that there are thousands and thousands of people who think like me.
The fact that I get to interact with ONLY a few hundred a day (on this site) is still an amazing feeling - 479 is better than feeling like you are the only one in the world. I see the glass as half full; stay positive, our growth trend is headed up.
One Last Thing
I'm not even American. I live in Canada. No one asked me to join the website or help Dr. Paul in this election. But here I've been, helping out for the last, umm, 42 weeks and 3 days. There are users from all over the world on this site, at all times. This is great.
We Daily Paulers are like a single flower in a garden full of weeds. When we can show people how beautiful our ideas are, our influence will go global.

Infighting among ourselves has always been common here, but lately that--plus Conspiracy Clucking--the only thing left on this Forum. I think I actually prefer the infighting. This is like Rense.com without the cool graphics now.

You have no idea how many people are hitting this site. Such as Unique Users, Visits, or Page Impression. You might be surprised.
I analyze web site activity for a living. I would love to crunch Michaels website transaction logs for these overview stats. I know how crazy us Paulers are about our privacy. Fortunately a standard audit process does not cross any privacy lines.
It's kind of expensive though.

Here is my other
tension reducing concept, as if my first was any good.
Most of us are fairly serious individualists and just plain SERIOUS all the time. Job #1 is deadly serious. Perhaps it may help bring new revolutionaries to the REVOLUTION if we all try to develop ways to make REVOLTING against your government seem more FUN!!!

I think the Revolution would make for a fascinating
study in human behavior and group dynamics. Throw a bunch of fiercely independent people together w/ the primary impetus for uniting is so they can rewin their independence as quickly as possible so they can all get back to doing their various individual own thing. Being what they are, they each naturally brim w/ ideas on how to get this sucker over with/what is important.
Mix thoroughly, serve COLD-cause it's gonna get mighty HOT, mighty Quick.

Seems to me this forum is ALREADY an experiment in what you describe! LOL No one's going to tell anyone they can or can't do something around here without giving a thorough explanation of their reasoning and/or a debate. Can get pretty ugly sometimes, but everyone either ends up agreeing to disagree or becoming best buds. ;-)

Which made me realize I had no idea whether that was high. I have since

TV wasn't around then so now we compete with dancing with the stars.
I've been talking to family members about preparing, they say, I'm not going to watch the bad news or I can't listen to that all the time or it will kill me. Frankly, think back to what woke each one of us up. Me, I was driving near Naples, Florida heard a guy on the radio named George Gordon explain a few things. I was shocked, pulled the car over onto the shoulder and made some notes. Ended up calling the guy later and decided to attend his law school. Read everything I could and understood & joined the patriot movement. When I heard about Ron Paul, maybe around October or November 2007, for the first time I saw a true statesman. I still work for liberty & freedom. As a former Army MP, I saw the light.

It could be because
of all the drama and other BS ego wars and what not that have occured over the last year. Hell, I rarely post here anymore, though I lurk daily.
Also, the NWO stuff SCARES PEOPLE AWAY!
When I talk politics I say "Globalists and transnational companies like..."
not "the NWO". Most people latch on to the conspiracy sounding stuff and shut you down. It's a process and it is slow.
I'm suprised we still have 100 people here after all the hate and discontent spread by infiltrators and trolls.
This truly is the remnant, the die-hardiest of the die-hards.

Offline, I never use the terms "New World Order", "Illuminati", etc. The terms either scare people away, or they have already formed an opinion regarding the people who use the terms. I use the words "The Elite/s", "The Establishment", or "Global Socialists".
