My prediction here.

This is sort of a throw away post, but my gut feeling on this whole economic crises/wall street debacle is that it is not going to crash anytime soon. I think this current turmoil will be balanced out for a time, only to fall completely on its ass in some not-too-distant future time when we will expect it less. . .

Yes, I'm sort of giving a conspiracy theory here, I feel as many do that this whole scenario is heavily influenced at the source by people hell bent on control(see: Mammalian Politics). I think they are using this situation to really get their pieces into place, as in a game of chess, and after things quiet down for a while and start to seem to be returning to normal I think they will pull the carpet out from underneath before anyone can catch their breath!

That's just my gut feeling, it is not backed by anything rational or statistical, just throwing it out here for conversation. What are your guys/girls thoughts?

Once you have to buy into a system that NO ONE undersands...

..you are doomed from the start.

I truthfully don't see how this financial system can stay together...

Right, they are pushing the

Right, they are pushing the pawns around the field. That's correct. They aren't planning to use martial law anytime soon; they have been pushing those pawns around, too.

One thing that bothers me is the tendency for many in this movement to yell, "The sky is falling! Grab your pork n' beans and head for the hills!"

These people see time passage of their agendae in decades, not weeks. When will we wake up and start to do the same..?

have a lot of gold in hand? That is not where they want it. They will wrestle, wrestle, drop the price like a rock, buy the gold cheap, regroup and jerk the rug out from under us when they have pilfered as much as they want. Get our money, get our gold, make us suffer. Win, win for the elites. Fun, fun for the elites. Power, greed, work us like a yo-yo.

Strange, then I wonder why one of members of the CFRs said this:

It is sometimes said that the crisis is a reminder of why we have the IMF. If the Fund doesn’t come up with some new ideas for how to handle it, the crisis may only remind us why we can forget it.

I can provide you with others from the members of the main organizational arm of the NWO if you like. Everything I am reading from the CFR, the IMF, the World Bank, the BIS, the FED and numerous other NWO organizations is that they are worried, worried like they have never been before.

This game didn't start a year or two ago

This has been a slow build-up for years and years. We are seeing an unraveling for sure, but to think that the NWO gang are somehow losing or suffering is naive. They don't rely on money anymore. They have more than enough wealth spread around the world to not care one bit about the "economy" we all have been handed. The show this weekend will be the "plan" the world leaders come up with, of course written by the banking families. Whatever they wind up doing has already been planned. The same families that run the banks pull the strings of the governments and will do as they please until they are physically stopped.

This is from a member of the Council on Foreign Relations in response to the question:

Globalization already faces some very serious challenges, but this has emerged as potentially a death knell. Do you think it is?

I hope not because it's difficult for me to imagine a really sensible alternative. But there clearly are two huge challenges posed by the crisis that we're now living through. First, there is likely to be, if not a true global recession in the sense of falling GDP [gross domestic product] across the world--that's very unlikely because emerging economies will continue to grow quite fast--still an enormous decline in global growth. The IMF [International Monetary Fund] has most recently forecast growth next year at below 2 percent, which is really very, very low. And that means, to translate into things that people feel, it means lost jobs; it means rising joblessness; it means collapsing companies; and with collapsing companies that means collapsing pension systems and so forth. You can see that happening all over.

When that happens, people are very strongly tempted to elect populist politicians of the left or right, many of them protectionist. That danger is clearly there just because of the economic slowdown. In addition, of course, it's obvious that this financial crisis has called into question the legitimacy of the free market, the credibility of financial capitalism, and people don't make subtle distinctions between financial capitalism and free trade; they seem sort of the same. So there's a danger of contamination from this to the idea of markets all together. And, again, the globalization process is only the global market economy, so there's an intellectual challenge as well. If you add the economic challenge to the intellectual challenge, we're going to have to do a very credible job of explaining that we're going to do better in the future, managing the global adjustment on macroeconomics and the balance of payments that I've discussed, and getting back to growth. It's going to be very hard.

Actually that would be the smart move for them.

If we have this "economy disaster" and it just "works itself out" then the next time it happens, everyone will be reinforced with the idea that "it could never happen here" since things will always work out for America. That way, the next time it happens, whenever people are arguing that "we need sound money", "everything is going to end," (basically everyone in the RP crowd), they will be discredited in the eyes of the people because they'll just think you're a nutjob and the government will simply take care of it with bailouts like it did last time.

If they rushed a fall right now it would be disastrous because people are starting to wake up. The only way to put them back to sleep is to "solve" the problem so that in the future all the NWO / NAU stuff falls on deaf ears.

This stock market fall is actually a power grab. Think about it -- you're getting bargain basement prices for EVERY stock. That means if you're a billionaire right now, you can pretty much buy up the entire stock market for pennies on the dollar. They're going to wait until it crashes to rock bottom and then the elite are going to buy up all the major companies -- including China -- they have TONs of money especially from the bailout -- they're going to use our own money to buy up our stock market.

Exactly. They're putting

Exactly. They're putting their pieces into position, buying up things at unprecedented rates, and moving things around a bit. I think this will self-stabilize and then be quiet for a little while, and then sometime next year it'll fall out from under us! If we're prepared for self-sustainability by then then we'll be okay and a new America will emerge, but if not, hello NAU!

We should forgive all debt

start fresh. .. same job same wages. put the bastards who did this in jail.

I would agree...most of this crisis is... the banks

not lending... they are driving the current crisis and they could simply loan the money they have from the Fed and solve the problem over night...

... the bigger problem is over the long term... when people are broke... they don't buy things, they don't pay taxes, they don't do much... and that is where the Bird Flu comes in handy!

Absolutely.

However you slice it, the jig is up.

For all the talk about FEMA camps, Martial Law, plastic coffins, etc. I don't think the corporatists will be able to implement their plans. It simply won't work!
