I had received this video in an email last week. Here was my response:
The unfortunate thing about this video, while being very good, is it only shows the Democratic and Republican choices...both of which are essentailly the same choice - unbalanced budgets, higher deficit spending, ballooning debt and more war. There is no mention of any of the other presidential candidates that are running.
The candidate that most clearly reflects the morals and values of the Catholic voter is Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party.
Catholics should be outraged at the Republican Party, because the past eight years made it very clear that they had no intention of addressing the right to life issue. With a Republican Administration, the Republican Majority in Congress (while it lasted) and a Conservative leaning Supreme Court, the Republicans could have, once and for all, overturned Roe v Wade. Instead, they tipped their hand and showed to the world that they are not willing to lose that plank in their platform.
The Right to Life is a tool to keep people in the establishment.
I understand....the republicans are a mess - no doubt.
but one thing I don't understand. There is ones supreme court justice who is 88 years old....the president has the power to elect his replacement. This president could possibly overturn roe vs. wade with his appointment. Am I wrong?
the 88 yr. old has to die first - who is democratic....then a republican (and hopefully pro-life) justice can be put in...
Why do you say it can be done now? They are in for life.

Good points...

I think they could overturn
I think they could overturn it now, if they wanted to. But, that wouldn't serve the agenda of the GOP.

I wasn't refering to the
I wasn't refering to the replacement, I was refering to overturning Roe v Wade. I believe they could overturn it now with the current Supreme Court.
