The BBC's topical current affairs discussion program, Question Time, will be held in Washington DC the week before the US elections.
Question Time is broadcast live in the UK every Thursday night directly after the nights main news program, BBC1's News at Ten.
I would expect that fairly major players from the democratic and republican parties will be present, I don't know if any independent candidate's will be represented (Maybe someone could approach the BBC).
Applications for the audience are now open. It would be nice to see a good turnout from the independently mined majority in the US.
