Palin Supporter Brings Racist Monkey "Obama" Doll to Rally
Submitted by StaxBrix on Sun, 10/12/2008 - 06:45A Sarah Palin supporter brings a racist monkey doll wearing an Obama sticker to a campaign rally. After the man realizes he's been caught on camera, he hides the doll, passing it off to a child.

Here is
the real version of it....
From the first video I was about to give that old man the benefit of the doubt...but after seeing this.....This old crank needs to go home..

In this campaign
I've seen Ron Paul's face on a jackass..Bush's face on a pig (and planet of the ape character), McCain's face on a rhino and Palin's face on a Pitt bull. I'm sure there are other interesting "creations" which I've missed. What is the big deal about Obama's name on a monkey? Either we have free speech or we don't ....it's that simple.
When it comes to racist
When it comes to racist overtones, black people are referred to as Monkeys. The others face on a jackass, pig, rhino, pit bull is a character reference in the opinion or those that use it, not a color or race. Had the gentleman used a kangaroo, no big deal. But a monkey referring to a black person,is asking for attention. Everyone is entitled to free speech but should mind their audience and accept consequences if there are any. Not everyone in the world knows how to ignore ignorance.

Monkey?
According to the religious theory of EVOLUTION I thought we ( the human race) all came from monkeys? As a Christian I am offended, yet the colleges keep on teaching that I CAME from a MONKEY.
technically, no
We're not exactly from monkeys, to be technically accurate. We're primates, so we share a common ancestor with the monkeys, who are also primates. One branch of the primate line of descendants became Apes, and we're on that branch; we share a common ancestor with the other Apes, such as the chimpanzees and bonobos. And then there were variations of the hominids, such as the Neanderthals, and we are the only surviving species among them.
If we were to somehow isolate one of our current subspecies (the races) either geographically or reproductively, they would likely speciate into some other variation that could no longer breed with the rest of us given enough time for random genetic mutations to take effect.
That's how humans became different from the other primates...through reproductive isolation coupled with random genetic mutations. Nature, through competition, selects the variation with the characteristics best suited to a given environment to survive, reproduce, and determine the course of following generations.
Archie Bunker and a Nurse
LOL. You would be surprised at the way some folks act even when they are sick or broken down. As a nurse, giving enemas, shots, pain management, LOL it's fun times. Even "Archie Bunker" types are humbled really quick when you kill them with kindness and of course being professional and competent. I've been called all kinds of names although they usually apologize because "I'm nice or do a good job" so that makes "me" okay. Quick story.....
I was an on call nurse and received a page about a patient that was dying and the family didn't want any "N!#$&Rs" to come to the house. I called the family and spoke to them about what they can do in the meantime because they will have to wait 90 minutes or longer. They said to me on the phone, "why can't you come?" I said because I'm the nurse on call who happens to be a "N!#$&R". WOW you could hear the gasps, cough cough.:) The man on the phone replied "alright lady, damn it". I was paged again after 10 minutes because the family said they were sorry and that the family will ALLOW ME to come to see about the dying relative. I politely and respectfully declined and said "they will have to wait for the next available nurse. I will not subject myself to that kind of hate on someone's private property where I'm not in control of the environment around me. Could you imagine little me in a house filled with people that don't like people of my complexion. That would be like a sheep in a lions den. No Thank You, I'll catch the next bus. :)
Ignorance isn't kind to many people.
If and when Obama is elected, he will have to be that much better to win the hearts of many who fear him. Possible? Anything is possible.......As for me, I'm still praying for Ron Paul or an equivalent. Baldwin 08

You've posted this story twice
If you had worked (as an on-call nurse) for me...and behaved in such a manner - you would have been fired. You took an oath...the ignorant racist did not. To refuse to give aid to a dying person just because they are a "racist" - is just as bad as being the racist.
Would you drive in an ice storm?
I think her decision was as professionally legitimate as a truck driver pulling over to park instead of driving through an ice storm.
Sorry, don't agree.
She is a nurse. She has an oath and a duty to uphold. Her "life" was not in any danger. She had received an apology from the family. She was the nurse on call. A patient needed help. That's about as simple as it gets.
I'm betting it's Obama supporters ...
... hired to go into McCain's gatherings to make the party look bad.

2012 is the year for Ron Paul!
I don't
think that old guy would do that....Listen to him yell on the second part of the video......in the thread I posted...
My thoughts exactly
The same re-pukes s are being schooled by the demon-cats in dirty politics cant say I hold much sympathy though.- Live free or die-bold.
an interesting quote
I'm not making this up. A 72 year old man that I know and respect, mostly, who's a Marine veteran of the Korean War, who has worked both farming and railroads, who continues to drive trains at age 72, who still rides a Harley, who prays to a Christian god at every meal with his family, and who follows politics from conservative talk radio, said this to me:
"That nigger's not even a real black man...he's a Muslim."
As if that insult was worse than the other...
An Archie Bunker think-a-like with an "Obama monkey" at a McCain rally seems entirely plausible to me. No plants necessary; they bring their own.
I will refrain from telling
racism stories. I have had many.experiences of racism from black/ African American men and women.
By keeping the racism pot stirred up and simmering, it keeps us dependent on our government; strengthening it and weakening us.
What if a white doctor refused to treat a racist black? Jessies Jackon would be there with the MSM on the 5 o'clock news.
People's sinful nature applies to all races of people. I know blacks who were racist against other blacks because of the lightness or darkness of their skin. Or blacks who ostrasized their own because they got out of the ghetto.
If we were all white then "redheads" would be the punching bags. Or the short, fat, tall, skinny, pretty, ugly, rich, poor. It is man's sinful nature.
No particular group has the corner on racism. Attitude tells it all.
so true, so true I suspect
so true, so true
I suspect that racism (or any kind of "us versus them" mentality) is the default setting of humans...and it becomes exaggerated when population size confronts limited resources. So the challenge becomes finding the most humane way of dealing with it.
One solution would be for us to manage the size of our population to match the availability of resources.
Gah
It's people like this that make all white guys look bad. I guess the same is true for every race though. Even still, it always embarasses me to see people of my race to display such bigotry.
if you ask me both McCain
if you ask me both McCain and obama are monkys.. niether of them are smarter then then a monkey!

we're all monkeys
We're all monkeys, and that's not an insult; it's just a fact, and it would be entirely humane if we managed ourselves accordingly.
What do monkeys need? Fruit, friends, and the freedom to swing from tree to tree.
Freedom is popular.

If you don't know that you're a monkey, it's because you don't know much about yourself or about monkeys.
But what I just wrote is the rhetorical, ego-based equivalent of a monkey throwing poop as an insult to someone else...the atheist versus the theist.
So yeah! It's me who is still a monkey. I'll own it.
I'd better shut my eyes and my mouth as the poop flings back my way.

This election is full of
This election is full of racism.
On YouTube there are videos of many hundreds, possibly thousands, of people who during interviews say that they support Obama because he is black. No other reason other than him being black. Probably in 95% of the interviews I watched the people could not think of a single Obama platform policy, so they simply fall back on "change." Change what? They don't know, but Obama is black so they are voting for him.
Yes, racism is all over the place.
There has also been sexism and ageism as well. Obviously, there are people who support McCain because he's not black - they are no better than those who support Obama because he is. Then there are also those who supported Hillary and now Palin because they are women.
Bleh...
What we really need are people who understand the need for liberty. When they understand that, then they will also understand that all the other stuff doesn't matter so much.

Obviously a plant by the
Obviously a plant by the opposition. It amazes me the dirty tricks the left will go to...to further their own agendas. Reminds me of all these jews painting swasticas on their own properties and blacks hanging nooses from trees. Its all about mind control and sadly most Americans...and most people for that matter, believe everything they see from the media.
It works like this, do the dirty tricks get on front pages of newspapers...a week or 2 later admit they did it to themselves and it will be on page 40 in a one paragraph story.
Ron Paul 2012
A plant
Most likely a plant, like the few who "chased" shallow Shaun Hannity in New Hampshire last winter.

Liberty is on the march, tyranny is on the run!
Itll be lots of fun to play "spot the plant" as we near the end
Both McCain and Obama have won the hearts and minds(?) of every complete buffoon in America. At the same time, both camps are crawling with underhanded scum who will stop at nothing to discredit the other. I try to disassociate the activities of the supporters from their candidates. The crap flying out of their own mouths is damning enough.

he was holding the kids monkey, whats the big deal
I didn't watch the video, but this guy could be a plant!
This morning I tried to find some real news on the Economic Crisis/Bailout, and all I could find was talk about Racism!
"Nothing to see here---move on, folks---business as usual----let's focus on the race card---issues don't matter"
Careful judging candidates by their supporters.
Obama has socialists and communists behind him.
Dr. Paul had 9/11 truthers and some white supremicists behind him.
You have to judge the candidates by their record and rhetoric.
Yea but
EVERY Mccain supporter I know is racist and I mean RACIST. Some of them were friends and family and I had no idea until now how extremely racist they are. Mind blowing. They have turned on me because I wo'nt vote for Mccain to keep that 'Muslim Nword' from being elected. It's getting ugly. Even the emails from my local GOP have racists comments. So I do'nt assume they are all plants. If I watch enough of them I will probably see someone I know. Even hardcore Dems I know wo'nt vote for Obama because he's black. Racism is alive and well mostly in the over 50 crowd. But there are younger people too. Makes me sad.
and I have seen the obama
and I have seen the obama side with there racism also! too bad you can't elect a guy for his policies and not the color of his skin.. look at those acorn fools with the voter fraud! talk about racism!
