The Message not the Man

I am a long time supporter of the CONSTITUTION and the Message Ron Paul brings is just that; the Constitution. The vote I cast is for PRINCIPLE not the popularity of the man...

What

I thought this Republic was set up where you can vote for whom ever you want? And all votes count - If you have supported Dr. Ron Paul's campaign and promoted Ron Paul - how could you change your vote? And you have convictions for liberty? Give me a break. Don't tell me the party this or this won't count - where is a free election? Where are the patriots?

Baldwin and Paul on Louisiana Ballot

Baldwin and Paul on Louisiana Ballot. I am from LA. and have checked the Sec. of States' Site. both are there. Paul as the taxpayers candidate
Baldwin as the constitution party candidate.
Barr doesn't appear on the Ballot.
I will follow Dr. Paul's endorsement and vote for Chuck Baldwin.

Are you Kidding me.......

If you have been a Ron Paul supporter all along, how can you vote for
anyone else...especially if he is on the ballot in your state. I wish we had that choice in NY. Stop splitting the votes. Ron Paul all the way!!!!!

I think the best tool we have when we go door-to-door is the DVD
"America: Freeedom to Fascism" it speaks for it's self. We should ask them to see the video before they make a decison. I don't see why with all our resources we have, and all our people al

WHAT?!?!?!?

Im from Baton Rouge and there is no way you should be voting for Baldwin. Do you know the impact and message we could send by giving Louisiana to Ron Paul?? WAKE UP!!!!

NO KIDDING

Do you know how much the rest of us would like Dr. Paul on their state's ballots???

How can you NOT vote for him if he's there???

I am writing him in here in Washington State anyway.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

Theoretically Chuck Balwin "could" win the Election

because he is on enough state's Ballots or is a WRITE-IN Candidate. Ron Paul is not.

In Massachusetts the Deadline for Write-Ins was Sept 5th--I am not aware of any effort to get Ron Paul recognized as a Write-In.

Therefore I have decided to vote for someone that would be counted, who I know has ALWAYS supported Ron Paul and was later ENDORSED by Ron Paul---CHUCK BALDWIN.

I TRUST RON PAUL'S JUDGMENT; I TRUST CHUCK BALDWIN.

It is a numbers game; CHUCK BALDWIN needs your Vote.

Also, Chuck Baldwin has said many times that he would appoint Ron Paul as his Treasury Secretary, therefore a VOTE for CHUCK is a vote for RON!

Ron Paul isn't a candidate

Ron Paul isn't a candidate for President (and has not been one for a long time).

Everyone knows we'd all crawl through broken glass to vote for Ron Paul if he was a candidate, but he isn't one. And yet we have people yelling here that it's a mistake to vote for Baldwin--who Paul endorsed, and who is running--instead of making a 'statement' to the GOP and voting for non-candidate Ron Paul.

Beam me up.

Hobs

While Mr Baldwin could theoretically win the Electoral College vis a' vis his ballot status, the odds are long against him. The mission here is not so much for Baldwin or Barr or Nader to win the election outright but to split the Demoblican's off from McBama to insure that neither one of them receives a majority of Electors, thus conceivably throwing the election into the House of Representatives, where Barack would likely win. That's why I've split the Union into blocs and thereby recommend voting for different proxies for Dr Paul, including not incidentally himself in Montana and Louisiana. It's also why I recommend against writing in, as it is often the hardest political battle of all. If Sid Vicious and Kid Hussein both miss a majority, Republican Electors will think long and hard before surrendering the White House to the Democrat Party.

That is why I suggest at the very least VOTE 3rd PARTY!

That would be amazing if the 3rd Party Candidates got the majority of votes and the Republicrats were the minority in this election. May the best 3rd party Candidate win!

are you effing kidding me?

are you effing kidding me? your lucky enough to have paul on your state ballot and youre still going to vote for bible thumping baldwin?!

what a disgrace... i know ron told you to vote for a 3rd party candidate, but he also didnt expect to be on the ballot in ANY state. so why dont you take the opportunity and do what many of us around the country could only DREAM of being able to do this nov. and vote PAUL!

where can i get...

RP2012!

Am I mistaken, or?

I am willing to admit I may be mistaken and could have taken his words out of context...but

Didn't Ron ask that his name not be on the ballots in those states, and that they support one of the other third party candidates?

GREAT NEWS!

Let's get him on EVERY state ballot.

I am writing-in Ron Paul.

In WAHINGTON STATE here is how you do it so that your vote counts:

1. Candidate (Ron Paul)
2. Office (President)
3. Party (Republican)

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

WRITING IN RON PAUL--NOT A GOOD IDEA!

To my knowledge, in most states, (Washington may be different) write-in candidates have to be registered as candidates or write-in votes are DISCARDED!

Although I understand the enthusiasm, such advice is misguided for voters nationwide.

OK --- Vote for McBama

Pawnstorm

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

My state has slack rules on almost everything.

No candidate needs to do anything for a write-in vote. (In theory, if I wrote in Ron Paul's name, the vote would count.)

Another lax set of rules: you can even carry a gun up here (open or concealed). I wouldn't want to take one into a restaurant or anything like that--might scare the daylights out of somebody!)

A good friend of mine down by Houston says that if he can't vote for Ron Paul, he might not even vote for a president.

--Cliff, Sioux City, Iowa

In Washington State, you can write in a candidate but the catch

is that it won't be counted unless has a significant influence on the outcome of the election. Stinks really....

Bears Repeating?

If you live in Oklahoma, you have no choice. Write-in Ron Paul.

If you live in Montana or Louisiana, rejoice! You get to vote for Ron Paul!

If you live in New Hampshire, please vote for George Phillies (the other Libertarian).

If you live in Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, The Dakotas, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming, please vote for Chuck Baldwin.

If you live in Arizona, California, The District of Columbia, or Maine, please vote for Cynthia McKinney or Bob Barr.

If you live in Connecticut, Georgia, Indiana, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, or Texas, please vote for Ralph Nader or Bob Barr.

If you can’t abide my recommendations, then, your State permitting, you could write in Ron Paul, your mom, your dog, or even Bob Barr.

But never Never NEVER vote for McBama!

This decision is rather painful for me, as it will be the first Presidential election for me (since 1976) in which I will not be voting for the Libertarian. It looks as though the Barr Campaign has burned that bridge, and it likely won’t be rebuilt until at least 2010. But still I reach out, optimistic sentimental sap that I am, and hope Barr does well in Georgia and Texas.

write ins are counted in Rhode Island

Rhode Island counts and publishes all write in votes. Mickey Mouse got two write-in votes last presidential election. (and in almost every election previous)

I mean we are home to the Big Blue Bug for goodness sake...

So we appreciate the dramadey of the write-in and they do get published.
