Iran celebrates global meltdown

Amidst the financial wreckage around the world, one government is celebrating.
Watching the global gnashing of teeth, the Islamic Republic of Iran is enjoying the ride.
"We are very happy that America's economy is in jeopardy and they are paying the price for their misdeeds. God is punishing them."
That is the verdict from Ayatollah Jannati, one of the most senior clerics in Iran.
President Ahmadinejad has pronounced on the collapse of global capitalism, and announced that Iranians should stand ready to manage the world.

Their idependant Central Bank should be a great example for the US citizens.

Why shouldn't they celebrate?
They've been unjustly villafied by Bush for years now. They have no nuke weapons program (our own intelligence confirmed this) and yet we've threatened them with annihilation anyway. McCain continues to lie and use that phoney quote from Amedinejad where he supposedly said "We will wipe Israel off the map".
America is being punished for our misdeeds, invading 2 sovereign countries under false pretenses, killing millions of people in the process, and completely destroying the infrastructure of those countries whereby those left alive are struggling everyday with easily curable diseases, starvation, dehydration, etc.
Bottom line is that Iran has never invaded another country in their entire history. They are no threat to anyone, especially the heavily nuclear armed Israel.
Iran has a right to laugh at us for what is happening. Watching us implode has to be such sweet revenge for them.

Punished not just because of what you state:

but we are being punished for turning away from God way back in the 60s and continue to commit abortions by the millions and think nothing of it, we allow homosexuality to spread out into the open like it is normal and even accept same sex marriages. It's dispicable and now we are reaping the fruits of our labors from decades past.
If we repent and turn from these abominations, then maybe God the Lord will forgive and turn His face towards us once more as in days past. If not, we are doomed to total ruin!
Athiests and non believers can say what they will but THEY are a BIG part of all this evil that has come upon us.

At least
the Iranian central bank does not lie about there inflation. As far as I know they are one of the last Country to have an independent central bank. This is probably the main reason the US is wanting a leadership change there.
The "axis of evil" or "rogue states" were defined not by their degree rogueness but by there resistance to dollar hegemony. These were Iraq, Afghanistan, North Korea, Libya and Iran.

Naturally they are going to celebrate
