Osama Bin Laden's role in the current economic crisis

Why hasn't the MSM or alternate media mentioned one of the obvious proximal causes of the current economic crisis - Osama Bin Laden? Bin Laden must be considered an evil genius who has clearly learned the most significant historical lesson of the last 40 years. Through the use of only 20 conspirators he was able to attack the US financial system and show the world the weakness of the US military and intelligence establishments. His attack was timed to coincide with a new and militaristic administration and a minor economic downturn, the dot com bubble collapse, creating undue economic fear and excessive counter responses by the American government. The American response to 9/11/01 was to launch two wars, with Iraq ultimately costing in excess of $2 trillion USD, which along with the immediate and dramatic lowering of the Fed prime rate by Alan Greenspan at the request of the Bush administration, accelerated the insolvency of the USA. This toxic combination of policy reactions to 9/11 ultimately lead to the state we're in today - by justifying the Bush administration's obvious desire to invade Iraq and enabling a massive increase in debt to "bolster the American economy," all without an increase in taxation. Not to mention the malignant effects of the Patriot act and other legal abuses on the American culture of privacy and liberty. It seems clear that OBL hoped for the guns and butter programs of the 60's to be revisited following his attack on 9/11 with the intention of causing similar disastrous effects on the American economy. We know that Bin Laden was a student of the Vietnam war's impact on the American economy (gold default, oil shocks) and psyche, and he obviously was a key architect of the destructive effect of the Afghan war on the Soviet economy in the 1980's. In hindsight it is amazing that the current administration fell for the trap so readily, I suspect this shows they were only interested in what 9/11 could do for their agenda than actually take the fight to the enemy. In this light our current economic troubles may be better compared to the collapse of the Soviet Union, the American troubles of the 1970's, or the post-war collapse of the British empire rather than the Great Depression. Most amazingly of all, OBL is still out there - watching the continuing effects of his successful terrorist plot seven years ago.

I don't believe

he's still alive. Look for the video on UTube where Bhutto was being interviewed by David Frost in England. She let's slip that he was "murdered". Being that she was Pakistani and he was supposed to have been in the caves over there, she would probably have known about his being alive or not.

I, like many others feel that Osama is pulled out of the shadows every once in a while to keep us all quaking in our boots as our controlled "leaders" lead us astray into tyranny.

"Bad men cannot make good citizens. It is when a people forget God that tyrants forge their chains. A vitiated state of morals, a corrupted public conscience, is incompatible with freedom." Patrick Henry

Yeah

I think so too. I think that is another reason they had to silence her.
Remember Mccain saying he would follow Bin Laden to the gates of hell?
Well hurry up already he's there waiting for you my friend :-}
