Ohio Attorney General Debate Oct. 14- 8 p.m.

Heads up to all Ohioans who are interested in Robert Owens - Independent Candidate for Ohio Attorney General. He'll be participating in Ohio's first ever AG debate tomorrow night. Here's info.
COLUMBUS, Ohio — WBNS-10TV, ONN and The Columbus Dispatch will host a debate on Oct. 14 at 8 p.m. in an effort to provide Ohioans with an opportunity to learn more about the candidates for Attorney General.

The debate will be broadcast live from the COSI studio in Columbus. Facing off will be Democrat Richard Cordray, Republican D. Michael (Mike) Crites and Independent candidate Robert M. Owens.

In traditional question/answer format, the debate will be moderated by veteran 10TV Anchor Jerry Revish. The four-member panel will include John Fortney, 10TV anchor and host of ONN's premier political talk program "Capitol Square;" Columbus Dispatch Reporter James Nash; ONN Statehouse Reporter Dan Weist; and Karen Kasler, of Ohio Public Radio and TV.

The three candidates are vying to fill a two-year vacancy left by the former attorney general, Marc Dann, who resigned during a sexual harassment scandal.

"In this critical election year, we're pleased to combine resources and give our viewers the chance to gain a more thorough understanding of the candidates and issues before their ballots are cast this November," said Tom Griesdorn, 10TV and ONN president and general manager. "Ohio's political and news watchers will find 10TV and ONN to be the local and statewide channels to watch for the outcomes and impact of Election 2008."

10TV and ONN will provide live Web streaming of the debate in its entirety on 10TV.com and ONNtv.com. In addition, viewers who are Time Warner Cable digital customers will be able to access the debate on an unlimited basis on Time Warner's Local on Demand (LOD) channels in Mid-Ohio, Northeast and Southwest Ohio.

No luck here either. I posted on OFA forum in case anyone there can help. Only thing I can get is Dist. 7 congressional debates will be tomorrow at 10pm??? This is really frustrating but reckon we should be used to that. ha I don't have cable tv and doubt I'd get channel 10 anyway.

He actually delivered a sign to my house. He has called me twice, both times we talked issues for about 10 minutes. Seems like a solid guy. The problem is exposure, same old 2 party shit.

Robert is an excellent candidate for AG of Ohio. I have heard him speak on several occassions. I like what he has to say. His sign and Baldwin's sign are in our front yard. Our Ron Paul sign is still up too!

He will represent the people of Ohio.

Thanks for posting this. I met Robert Owens and his wife at a Making of America seminar in August. He was also with Chuck Baldwin in Columbus last night but I wasn't able to make it. Owens is Constitution Party and is on Nov. ticket as Independent. Convinced he is the real deal. I asked him opinion on what the TX AG was doing with the FLDS situation. He didn't hesitate in condemning it and has plans for Ohio Family Services to protect from the type of abuse TX is doing. He is pro-Second Amendment and plans to re-educate police on Ohio's open carry law. He even wears his while on the campaign trail. I have his sign up and will be canvassing my neighborhood next week. Would love to see him get a C4L nod.

dang, I would have like to see that...are you from around Columbus? I live just Southwest of Cols. out towards London. Also, how did you get a sign already...I've been waiting to get one...are they available on the site now.

Haven't checked the site yet for signs. I don't have Baldwin yet but have Owens. He had them at the seminar. That was in Newark couple months back. I'm in central Wayne Co. so Columbus is 1-1/2 hr SW. Planned to go until last minute changes, had to cancel. If you check the Ohio Freedom Alliance link below, you'll find list of current events. I think Baldwin will be here couple more days, town over near Cinci next. He was still in Columbus this afternoon. Not sure about Owens.

don't be surprised to see a message from me. The site for Owens says they have signs but it isn't showing how to get them, at least as far as I can figure out yet. I am going to check Chuck Baldwins site to see where he will be. Thanks for the info.
