Anyone else seeing products labeled for the NAU????

This weekend I purchased my first NAU product. The label on a pkg. of ground chuck read: PRODUCT OF US CAN MEX

There is no NAU ??? Hmmmmm.....................

Anyone read country of origin labels of products from Hp, Ibm and other corps "Made of domestic and foreign components", I noticed this in the early 90's.

Now we have Ground chuck composition from domestic and neighborings.

I am going back to vegetarianism, and growing my own damn food from heirloom seeds and guarded with wolf traps.

I am relocating to cougar and bear country as of now.
I am going back to my caveman roots.
I am free again.

I still love all of you, and of course Ron Paul and the likes.

Just this last weekend I noticed for the first time two different semi-truck trailers on I-94 in Michigan where one said "MEXUSCAN" with MEX, US, CAN in different colors, and the other trailer just had the 3 flags of Mexico, U.S., and Canada all side-by-side. The two were unrelated as far as I know, as I didn't see them together. I don't know what company might have owned them or anything other than what I saw on the trailers.

It is crucial to take pictures of these trucks and try to have a known background which can be verified. This is the only way to get through to people without being rude. Document everything.

what else is scary? It says with natural flavor. It probably isn't even hamburger! Buy local. Find someone who raises grassfed beef and buy from them. They also pump carbon dioxide in these meat packages to make them look redder.

Because: Almost all cans of tuna, even the water packed tuna, contain SOY, in the form of 'vegetable broth'. Soy boosts the protein content (just as the poisonous melamine in pet food and baby formula did)
I am not saying soy is poisonous, but if you are wanting to avoid soy in your diet, as some folks are, this is deceptive labeling!

The only way to make a dent in this is to provide pictures of labels showing NAU products, China products, and other countries. Then we can put this information out to the public. I'd be willing to investigate this but I want pictures, store names and states. I will not put myself out on a limb without evidence I can corroborate.

The NAU is coming at us in so many directions it is hard to keep up on the subject. Thanks for posting this---I am presently in a 'dialogue' with my state senator about the 'digital watermark' on our new driver's licenses.
Oregon is one of the states willing to require the security features of the Homeland Security Department.

A Commerce Department (?) regulation requires that a food product that is canned in another country contains that information on the label.
Notice that almost ALL of the canned mushrooms are now PRODUCT OF CHINA, as is much of our canned apple juice!
Also, Canada regulations are that a product can be labeled Product of Canada if 80% of the product is of Canadian origin, I think. (Canadians, correct me if I am wrong) So if it is a product that different lots can be mixed, such as honey or juice, the product could be 80% Canadian and 20% from another unknown country.
And-----Distributed By----a U.S. company does not mean it is a U.S. product!.

Protecting US products is indeed "cool". Sometimes things have a way of being introduced to sound patriotic, for your protection and ensure you of "quality". The ifo you present is comforting but I for one still found it alarming to find a product I held in my hand say... Product of US CAN MEX when so many try to glaze it over and say the NAU is just a "dialogue" (?)

Some one else mentioned a lable that read For Sale in the Americas. Can we really say it is rediculous and really not connected to see these changes in our labeling and then to logically come to a conclusion that these changes are actually to be attributed to the afore planned NAU?
