NYT Notes Ron Paul's Internet Fundraising Leads Giuliani

Buried at the bottom of a New York Times article about the Democrats lead in raising money online:

One surprising development has been the online strength of a Republican long shot, Representative Ron Paul of Texas, who has garnered fierce devotion online and been able to sustain his campaign in large part from Internet donations.

Potentially troublesome for Republicans, however, Mr. Giuliani, the current party front-runner in national polls, has done the least of all of the major candidates online, raising an anemic $1.3 million.

I notice Obama is largely supported by bankers....hmmm. Goldman-Sachs among others. Already know some of the Hillary givers like Rupert Murdoch. Seriously, with support like that how can anyone possibly consider either one of them as a candidate for the People? We simply have to put Ron Paul in the White House folks. Tell your friends.

Giuliani doesn't have to

Giuliani doesn't have to worry about those internet donations.. Remember he's already bought and paid for by corporations and that's where he gets all his money. ;)

Beware the New York Times

.
Long ago The New York Times was a pretty good newspaper. Then, after they drew the wrath of the administration with the publication of The Penagon Papers, the CIA moved in to write and to vet stories on sensitive topics. The same happened with many of the major dailies. Ben Bradley of the Washington Post, for example, was a CIA contract agent, and Bob Woodward's background was the Office of Naval Intelligence. Not exactly unfettered journalism.

But the editors are savvy enough to give the appearance of fairness: to publish a few lines they can point to and say, "See? We wrote about Ron Paul and it was favorable." Wait for the dismissive put-down of Dr. Paul (they will call him quaint and parochial) and an Op Ed supporting Hillary. It'll happen--sooner or later.

So, even though the Times has become sadly corrupted, they still have a decent crossword puzzle.

Not really "sustaining" his

Not really "sustaining" his campaign through donations. He probably has enough cash on hand to triple it.
