Submitted by midwest_rpfan on Wed, 10/15/2008 - 17:22Steve Miller is the real deal here in Chicago and is running against a long time 20 year Democratic Congressman - Danny Davis. He is getting zero support from the Republican Party and is a heart and soul Ron Paul Republican. Last night at a conservative Town Hall meeting he stood his ground on the Iraq War and said he wouldn't vote for additional funding and would ask that the troops be brought home. He had Neocons challenging him at every corner and stood firm without backing down. I think he handled the arguements as well as Ron Paul. Some of them said they would not vote for him and that he lost them. He didn't even care and later on said he would rather go after the Democratic vote instead. Others loved it and knew that he was the real deal and won some support.
I have asked 2 times for some support here on the Daily Paul and we didn't even get $5. So disappointing because I've given when people have asked and now that I'm asking, nothing. If someone, some of you or all of you just gave $5 each, I would be so excited. At least feel sorry for us living here in Obama/socialist hell.

i uncovered a handicap parking scam in my neighborhood of chicago today. someone in government is selling these hang tags to perfectly able bodied individuals....then they don't pay the meters. So....ill publish the tag numbers

I just handed out several Steve Miller slim jims to 7th district voters....
I also got a letter in the mail from the Board of Elections that said normally my precinct has 500 voters, but this year it has over 1300 people registered... which scares me, because since we are in Chicago, they're likely mostly all Obama supporters, which means they equally likely to vote for a straight democratic party ticket....
we'll have to double our efforts. We're already in an overwhelmingly democratic district, and now we have a guy running for President from this state/city who's a democrat/popular (especially here), etc. etc. basically, we're getting an already heavy democratic district, but with even more democrats this year.
Its not over yet!
I hate to ask again, but we are having one more mini money-bomb to get us through the election. Please donate anything you can.

and started a new business about a month ago, and boy am I getting my ass kicked by the economic slump. I wanted to thank you for any donations you have given that I may have requested, and right at this particular moment do not have a credit card in which to donate to your candidate. I will however give you this bump(I logged in just to bump this for you) and will donate with a prepaid card if I see this post again. Best of luck to this candidate, and please understand we are all being pulled into so many different directions and don't know what cause to unite with right now. Unfortunately everyone has no money, and our causes all need money. Times have really changed since the money bomb days, a lot of people are struggling right now, so don't be disheartened. I'm starting to really hate living in Illinois but we are stuck here for now. It's wonderful to hear that there others who support the Constituion that live in Obamaland and President Daley. I don't live in the city but as you know the corruption extends well into the suburbs too.

Thanks for the donation! I know there are over 10 times where people have asked for money on this site and I have given something. Not a lot, but the point is that I think it's important to show your face here. This is why I'm just asking for $5. You probably have that in change on your desk. It's nothing...
