Is this debate live in NY ?

I mean are the candidates going to be there in person - or are they just
linking via audio from around the country .... I thought C Span was going
to broacast live - are they just going to record the audio and broacast the
audio live or at another date - DOES ANYONE REALLY KNOW WHATS
suppose to happen - what is really going on with the deal?

Only OFFICIAL word please - NOT from other posts etc.....

All info I find is contradictory in nature - I don't have a clue ... so how are
we suppose to encourage people to listen and we don't even know who is
going to be there - Chuck Baldwin official site does NOT list him being there anywhere ... nothing on front page or on calendar events - no mention of anything for Oct 19

I LOVE C-Span!!!

I LOVE C-Span!!!

Its a presidential debate,

Its a presidential debate, and when McBama doesnt show, everyone will see what cowards they are not wanting to participate in a debate thats agenda isnt pre-planned by the D and R. Fucking cowards, and they want to lead this nation? Pathetic.

By the way ...

This NYT article made Drudge this mourning.

It was only on there for a few hours, but it did make it.

He gets a lot of hits in the AM.

This is good.

send this out to everyone you can!

Ron Paul is My President

Ron Paul is My President

Chuck Baldwin is the most honorable alternative left!

However much I wish Ron Paul were on the ballot, he is not. However he has done the next best thing, in effect endorsing another honorable and principled advocate of limited government by saying "I will be voting for Chuck Baldwin."

I know many people have reservations about the Baldwin/Castle ticket over some of the seemingly theocratic nuances in the Constitution Party platform. Chuck Baldwin is doing his best to take sectarianism out of his candidacy. Although he is a fervent Baptist preacher, he makes a clear distinction between confessional conviction and the natural law principles which are needed to sustain a multi-religious civil society. But don't take my word for it, go to one of the websites where his articles are posted, his party, his campaign or his church's.

I don't see much likelyhood of a Baldwin presidency, but I do think that the resounding implosion of the GOP can be aided by a strong Third Party showing on Nov. 4th. That will clear the way for a regroupment of forces outside of, and perhaps even joined by elements of, the Democratic party. Whether one sees this "clearing of the way" in terms of a Randian railway metaphore, or the leveling of mountains and valleys spoken of by the prophets is a matter of private conviction.

Baldwin/Castle 2008!
The republic you save may be your own.

If this is about getting the attention of the "Big Two" and the

MSM -- you should be holding your nose and voting for Nader or Barr.

Sorry, no disrespect to either Chuck or Ron but he has virtually no name recognition at this point in the election. The people I converted to Ron Paul during the primaries are now voting for McCain and have never heard of Baldwin. Two of them are conservative Christians.

Ron Paul "Sign Wave Across the USA" -- November 5th!

So if they never heard of

So if they never heard of Baldwin, why not help educate them on who he is, what his positions are, and why ron paul endorsed him? If they really like Ron Paul, its likely you could get them to reject McCain, especially since RP said he would not endorse McCain nor vote for him.

So what happens now with Trevor Lymons ThirdPartyTicket.com

It's the same event: Free and Equal

is one of the sponsors of ThirdPartyTicket; and BreaktheMatrix (as well as C-SPAN) will be broadcasting the debate.

Maybe I spoke to soon:

Free and Equal Elections (FREE) has suddenly disappeared from the list of TPT sponsors -- so it's possible that the FREE has hijacked the event away from TPT & BtM and is freezing them out. I hope not.

Let's do our best to promote this one and only

authentic debate, despite Barr's usual spoiler tactic. Once again he shows he has no interest in promoting freedom, only himself.

Gimme a break; the invitation letters

were sent out only today, and already the Nader and Baldwin camps are spreading stories about Barr "spoiling" the event? IIRC, that's the same kind of tactics used before the Sept. 10 press conference, and they may work here as well.

First Bob Barr is a spoiler

First Bob Barr is a spoiler for McCain, now he is spoiling the Third Party debate! Hah! Since he's making so many people mad, I've GOT to vote for Barr on November 4th!!!

It's good that they're having this debate,

It's definitely a start, but I wish they would let them all debate together, rather than have to have a special "3rd Party Debate" as a separate thing.

Presidential Debate - Not Third Party Debate

The Commission would never allow Obama or Mccain to debate other candidates. This event is not called The Third Party Debate, the NY Times named it that but it is just called a Presidential Debate by the hosts - Free and Equal Elections Coalition (FREE) and the Columbia Political Union

~Also invited is Chuck Baldwin, running on the Constitution Party ticket in 35 states.

Mr. Baldwin is perhaps the least known of the group. He’s an evangelical minister and hosts a conservative talk show in the Florida panhandle region. He also has gained the endorsement of Ron Paul, whose bid for the Republican nomination garnered a loyal and enthusiastic following.

The only question mark is Bob Barr, the Libertarian Party candidate. Mr. Barr has made it clear that he will only debate Mr. Nader and no one else....
...Ms. Tobin added that if this event, which will be held at 8 p.m. is successful, her group plans to hold another one a few days later.

Notice that the source of that story about Barr

is a worker for the Nader campaign.

Emailed people about it

If we could get more of our friends and relatives to watch, it might help. They could actually see a real debate where people have half a brain. I can't believe Barr. He will only debate Nader. Give me a break. Probably because he knows Baldwin will leave him in the dust.

I told some people in one of my classes tonight that to watch the third party debates on Sunday on C-Span because they were bitching about both canidates, FAux news, etc.

About Barr, what an idiot

if that's really true, he'll lose even more votes. I really would be surprised if he gets 100,000 votes total.

Make that 100,002 votes,

Make that 100,002 votes, after my wife and I vote for him!

"Cowards & idiots can come along for the ride but they gotta sit in the back seat!"

You got that right

He's looking more and more like a shill every day...

Boy some of the comments
