How Do We Combat Martial Law?

Let's get this out in the open before the elections...
Are there any publications or instructions(military, perhaps) concerning how to successfully combat Martial Law? I'm talking from a city/town level... after curfews and nationalization of the police force, etc. I recognize that direct confrontation will only get citizens killed or imprisoned.
So, how does one proceed? Who is the enemy and how do you fight them? Get the 'V for Vendetta' is dead out of your head... Guy Fawkes is dead. I don't want to be dead.

I think the principles are clear; what particular actions you take, you take, and you inform and involve your family or group, but don't broadcast your intentions or your supplies or anything else that would tip anyone off.

I just had a thought. Please dont tear me up too bad on this. But his is my question/idea:
It is 'illegal' to protest and cause disturbances and get in the way of people who don't want you in their way. That is sad, but is true. You end up on a list with 'evil' people.
Now I ask: Who needs you now more than anyone? The Representative that stood up for what was right.. twice. and maybe even some other time (if you are so fortunate). I was thinking that these people might be undergoing a little pressure and stress from TPTB right about now.
So here is my thought: Is the thought of holding a public "Thank You" gathering in front of your Representatives office an idea worth kicking around? You would not be doing anything 'evil'. You would be showing support for an elected politician. Kind and courteous! He/She may even come out to talk and have a nice meet & greet! Great way to network and let them know that they will have help when needed. It might even turn out to be a good PR/Media exposure chance.
Not a troll- just kickin around an idea that may encourage the ones that felt good about doing their duty when they were supposed to. It might help in the future. Plus it is a new twist to this civil disobediance. I don't know if anyone(including Dp'ers) are ready for something like this.
Everyone knows that members of the House admire RP, his integrity, and bravery. Everyone knows that they also ENVY his ability to collect followers. Give them a couple hours of gratitude and they might just pick up that constitution and look into it again.
Could you imagine being pummeled by the military for displaying signs that genuinely said, "Thank you for defending our Constitution"?
It would create a sort of cognitive dissonance within the soldier. Ecspecially a troop just coming back from a war that was 'protecting our freedom;.

it works, but police are very skeptic about massive crowds. Loitering, crowd control, they will find a reason to break up any rally unless it is planned organized. Maybe get the police involved in a parade of some sort, think to incorporate them as part of the movement instead to fight them.
I'm made friends with a few cops and to tell you the truth, they seem pretty good and they do feel like breaking up protests are messed up, but they got to feed there families so they follow orders.

plan it and organize it. Wear a suit if you must. Or even bring your own flexi-cuffs so that they don't have to waste theirs! I know it sounds silly. Damned ridiculous. It's cognitive disonance! A Well Regulated Militia is where I would start. Great site, good values, and they have something called the National Militia Standards which has been widely adopted across the country. It is a set of standards that is intended to comply with state and federal laws, and the Geneva Convention.
Recently I saw family members currently serving and back from the GWoT. Recently I drank with the younger generation who has just seen combat. I tell you here and now DP;
THESE PEOPLE ARE BRAINWASHED!
They will not hesitate to kill you, your family, and your babies, should the President so order it. The troops currently stateside will rip you out of your home and haul you off to FEMA camp if they are ordered to. They do not give 2 plops of feces in a toilet about our Constitution, and say "Blah blah, Whatevah!" to Posse Comitatus. These people seriously, believe that their highest oath is to follow the orders of their commander in chief, when actually it is to the Constitution TWICE before it is to the President. Read the Oath of Enlistment. Constitution comes First for a reason. Many soldiers even remember their oath differently, like it is to the United States, with no mention of the Constitution. Any soldier reading this should not be offended by this statement, but simply be reminded of their oath.
Straight up, when it goes down, you don't look at them as "Americans" anymore. You look at them as "NWO Soldiers", and you can identify them easily by their backwards reverse flag with yellow fringe on their right arm instead of left (same side your heart is on) where it belongs.
The most defining moment I had last week was this. Do you remember the stories from the Civil War era about how 2 brothers saying good bye for the last time as 1 left to go fight for the Union and the other for the Confederacy? Yeah, I had that moment with my cousin last week, so don't tell me this ain't for real, that this SHTF isn't coming, because it is, and only those who are prepared can survive it.
I love you folks here at DP, and truly pray you never have to experience that. It sucked! I will not obey. I will resist, and get this "Resistance is Futile" Borg programming out of your heads. So what if your dead? Some things are more important than life. Some things are worth dying for. If that means I'm a dead, fine! Considering 10,000 died on the beaches of Normandy in a single day to keep the spread of Nazism from coming to our shores, I don't see how I can do any less.

I only advocate preparing yourself and your family with the ability to survive what's coming with your god given rights and freedoms intact, nothing more. Most of the time local police are in charge, so you might want to go check out what they have up there sleeves. During Marshal the Mayor should take over, if not, then it will be a military coup, because marshal should be under a non-combative leader. ask them how the people they were placing under martial law fought back. as a combat veteran of OIF i now feel i have a grasp of how to fight a guerrilla war. and that's the way this must be fought. pick the time and place of the fight. don't let the enemy do that for you are sure to lose.
i always found myself wondering why we didn't have a problem with snipers. i spent an entire year on the south side of Baghdad. and never once did i come under sniper fire. at least as far as i know :) maybe he missed a bunch and i never heard it over the sounds of the vehicles. but it was always in my mind that even in a tank we would be nearly crippled by a sniper. if just one of us went down the ramifications would have been huge. knowing that if you stick your head out of the hatch for a mere second you could get it blown off.
that's why i advise everyone to get versed in the use of long distance rifles. it's the best way we have to send fear down their spines and demoralize them. they may come for the assault rifles, but the "hunting" rifles should be left alone.

… But we are already under martial law. Just because we don't see soldiers and tanks on the streets doesn't mean anything. The congress, senate and courts are ordered by the executive how to vote and rule… They have no other choice except to resign (or get iced.) Had the congress not voted on the bailout, the president would have simply signed it into law. When was the last time the government actually did ANYTHING that was constitutional? They only follow the constitution when it serves THEIR interests. How many great voter initiatives were passed and then promptly reversed by the corrupt courts as being "unconstitutional"? Wake up people, It's all an illusion, smoke and mirrors to make us all THINK we actually have freedom of choice. Well, yeah we do, but they are all false choices (like would we like to die slowly by poison or quickly with a gun?).
We The People are no longer in charge and we can no longer change the system in the conventional way (voting, etc.) Change first comes from WITHIN. When a groundswell of people finally wake up and see the man behind the curtain, THAT will be the day when we will experience REAL change for the better. We can all start being free today by rejecting FEAR (False Evidence Appearing Real) and start resisting by just saying NO. They cannot put 320 million Americans in jail for NOT doing something. Freedom is REAL… We can find it just on the other side of the fence that we have built around our minds. I REFUSE to worry and be fearful anymore. Start treating ALL authority with disgust and disdain… They are ALL criminals and piranhas. Stop voting and participating in their scams and schemes. Key word for today: Passive Resistance.

… between the flag and the N.A.T.O. and United Nations patches they have on their uniforms. Also, do you think that Bush's private army (Blackwater) actually gives a damn whether anyone is wrapped in a flag? To them it is just a rag to mop up the blood.
Besides they do NOT need soldiers patrolling the streets. All they have to do is completely shut down commerce, supply chains and communications until the majority submit (and most will.)

For starters DON'T telegraph your strategy
Study strategy and history - political, economic, and military.
The more they are in the dark about what you will do, the better. As long as you keep them guessing, you can make them over-think your moves, and they will thus over-think theirs. That is when they will make a mistake.
Effective resistance to military force upon civilian populations is hidden in the will to fight, either in their will to slaughter their loved ones, or in yours to resist their unlawful actions no matter what the price.
The goal of such force is to sap your will to resist and thus make you comply.
Do not comply. Resist at all costs. Thus there is no price they can inflict on you which will make you comply. They will be left with no other option but to give up. Works every time.
Bear in mind, that your resistance is not done for yourself, but for your grandchildren, or the grandchildren of others. It isn't just for your way of life, but for the survival of all mankind.
Man cannot survive as a slave. He was not meant to be one. Don't be one.
