Would another great depression be good for the country?

0 votes

I hesitated an hour before I starting this thread. I think another great depression would be good for the country but hard for the citizens for a time. There is no substitute for a national disaster to bring everyone together, we are so divided this maybe the only way to awaken the masses. We are being lead own the primrose path and sooner or later we will figure it out.

So what do you think?

Only if one result

was the overthrow of the current Gov't of the USA, and the institution of a new Constitution that finally protect individual rights once and for all.

System of courts of law
Police force
Provision for national defense (He** no, not Dept. of Homeslice Security)

Anything else, out of the question.

IRS? pshaw
Fed Reserve? get real
Dept. of HHS? it will be called private charity
Social Security? It's called a savings account
FRNs? well we'll need TP for sure

If we are going to go thru that much pain, and loss of wealth thru no fault of our own (those of us that are honest) - we should demand nothing less.

Yes Mr. NSA man, put me on your list....

Don't look at things like that...Just make best of situations

As much as you can control your life, there are lots more things that you can't control...that you have to make the best out of.

Bruce Lee spoke of his fighting philosophy being like water...being fluid enough to immediatly fill whatever cup/glass/bowl/etc it is placed in. Likewise, he tried to stay in the moment so much that his fighting strategy can immediately adapt to whatever situation he is in. Ditto for making the best out of whatever life throws at us.

You certainly need to have goals and stuff too. Without goals, you'll just get blown around by life like a sailboat without a rudder.

In addition to that, however, you must also be in the moment and ready to adjust to events that are out of your control.

It's a ying/yang thing.

"bringing everyone together"

"bringing everyone together" is pointless if the sheople don't know what they're being brought together for. the last time this band of idiots got together, they swallowed the patriot act in one gulp. No, i think that a depression will simply cement the grip of government around everyone's throats.

the last great depression

the last great depression created a tidal wave of socialism in this country.

TGD 2.0 would pretty much finish the conversion.

Bump!

I really do.

The lazy, apathetic, uneducated, populace of Amerikan sheep need a strong dose of reality. A time to "piss or get off the pot" if you will.

It isn't an issue of another depression - the issue is the fiat money and fractional banking. Ron Paul has been on more news networks recently and he has explained - get rid of the federal reserve, coin new money, cut government {in and of its self will "hurt" because it eliminates freeloaders} return the troops, energy independence - Ron Paul said, this in the long run will help our country and economic situation however, in the short term, it hurts because people have been trained in government schools for years, trained in society to surrender through licenses and look to government as a daddy. But Ron Paul is right.

And - Go Gators.

In theory I think you're right. But this is engineered

And, therefore controlled. The NWO crew know more about human behaviour in disasters better than all of us combined will ever know. They will engineer ways for us to "come together and serve the greater good" and they will also engineer ways to divide us even deeper.
It's sad to say, but I think if we stay on the waking up the masses strategy, they're going to get what they want. People have been trying to wake up the masses since the 50's, they just keep on sleeping.

Knowledge is power, action is love.

The damage is done

The credit expansion that has mortally wounded us has already happened. There are only three choices: allow a quck and painful depression which will correct the errors and get us on solid ground again (albeit with the Fed still in place and ready to do it again) or inflate until the currency collapses, or do both at the same time so we have an inflationary depression. The first is the better choice for returning us to economic health. Maybe the second is better for breaking the system so we can start over without the Fed..
