It is time to hold the politicians accountable!
As you well know, the unconstitutional "bailout" of failed lenders that became law earlier this month has, as Dr. Paul predicted, thrown the economy into even more turmoil.
As Dr. Paul said, the free market did not cause this problem and only the free market can fix it.
But even as I write this, Big Government insiders from both parties are frantically working to design even worse legislation for the next Congress.
This legislation may even be presented in the upcoming lame duck session of Congress to take place after the November elections.
They just don't get it!
And unless you and I, and tens of thousands of other Liberty-minded Americans act now, they will continue us down the road of socialism.

You see, your Campaign for Liberty staff is putting the finishing touches on a hard-hitting program to take place over the next 15 days in key districts and states letting concerned Americans know just how their representatives voted on the bailout.
The goal of this effort is two-fold.
First, we want to make sure as many people as possible in key states and districts know whether or not their Congressmen and Senators stood with the Constitution and voted against the bailout, or sold out the American people for this socialist power grab.
Second, we want to let those Congressmen and Senators who voted for the bailout know that the American people have taken notice.
And we want to let ALL the candidates know that this is a defining issue both now and in the future.
We plan to go into as many districts and states as possible, like North Carolina's 4th Congressional District, where incumbent David Price (D) voted for the bailout and is being challenged by strong bailout opponent B.J. Lawson.
To do this, Campaign for Liberty plans to:
Produce and distribute slim jims specifically tailored to districts/states that tell how each Congressman and Senator voted. These will be available soon on the Campaign for Liberty web site for every district and state in the country.
And we will also print and distribute these pieces in as many of the key districts as funds allow.
Send a series of email blasts into many key districts and states, urging our members and supporters to contact the candidates and demand they oppose any further "bailouts."
Run hard-hitting newspaper ads in as many places as funds allow.
Run radio ads and hold news conferences announcing the votes cast on the bailout.
Flood key districts with tens of thousands of phone calls letting people know where their Congressmen and Senators stood on this very important issue.
Of course, carrying out this plan will cost money. That is why your Campaign for Liberty must raise $325,000 in the next few days.

As you know, this bailout—which its supporters tried to rename a "rescue package" in order to make it more palatable to Americans—allows the federal government to "purchase" (with fiat and borrowed money) $700 billion in bad mortgage-related assets, putting the taxpayer on the hook for the mistakes of the Federal Reserve, Congress, and Wall Street.
Despite the rhetoric used by the bill's proponents, this bailout will only prolong and worsen the economic consequences we must endure while the market purges itself of these bad assets.
And though this bailout passed, the battle is not over.
Matter of fact, the fight has intensified, as the Treasury Secretary is now using the powers granted under the bailout to "inject capital" into our nation's banks—essentially nationalizing them.
To get the message out to hundreds of thousands of Americans in the next 15 days so they can hold their politicians accountable, Campaign for Liberty must raise $325,000.
For this effort to have the intended effect, we will need sufficient funding. As one of my mentors has always said, "You can't save the world, if you can't pay the rent."

The CFL needs to prove itself before asking for money.
I belong to the CFL, but I'm not donating a penny until I hear what the direction is and where it is going. I already donated to previous money bombs personal cash that I could have spent on something important in the past year, and I have nothing to show for it.
My donations went to overpaid staffers (there shouldn't even be any paid staffers, in my opinion) and positively excreable TV commercials
that "helped" Dr. Paul lose the New Hampshire primary and crippled his momentum. I have never before seen such an incompetent political campaign in my life...what a pity the best candidate to come along in a century could not have had a more effective HQ.
So if you want my money, folks, you'll have to earn it now.
If there is no planned direction to the CFL, I'm not helping.
If the CFL goes back, rhetorically, to sloganeering for "taking back the GOP" (To what? Lincoln? The Cold War? More Wilsonianism?)---instead of supporting Third Parties, I'm not helping. Until I hear evidence they have learned that lesson, they can do it without my nickel.
Someone needs to lead, follow, or get the hell out of the way. I used to support the Libertarian Party; now they are running two neo-cons for the White House. It's hard to trust anyone at this writing, and I won't throw away money on nothing again. Lots of people won't, until they hear something in the way of IDEAS that encourages them. The movement loves Ron Paul; it has also been burned by the complete lack of leadership at the top.
This isn't Heaven's Gate. You are going to have to prove yourselves if you want libertarians to keep donating money.

I have contacted the Campaign for Liberty about Bob Bird for U.S. Senate from Alaska and a few others NOT listed on the Liberty PAC site, but never received even a simple "thank you". There will be a Money Bomb for the 3 Senate candidates starting Wednesday morning at 12:01 AM and lasting til Sunday (26th) at 11:59 PM. Donations will be made directly to the candidate/s of your choice. Even though it is for Senate Candidates, House candidates will be posted also. The Liberty PAC has ZERO Senate candidates listed, but there are 3 great people running, lead by Bob Bird from Alaska. Has some great videos on his web site. I should have the post on the Daily paul today, but will need help to spread the information. Victory is the goal!

Until the CFL tells us who is running the show, how much they are getting paid, where all the past money bomb money went, why they won’t donate some of the 4.7Mil into congressional campaigns and, for god’s sakes, open up to the grassroots, then I say send them $0.
I am suggesting that we organize our states to mirror the governmental structure that we must work within, the one set in motion by the founding fathers.
The CFL must hold quarterly national conventions, which are represented by our state coordinators (senators) and our district coordinators (congressmen).
The CFL (executive branch) should consist of a board of the highest constitutional intellectuals

In the state of Massachusetts, we are holding our first quarterly statewide convention on Oct 25th. to elect state coordinator and district coordinators whom will organize the precinct captains. In effect we are building on the base structure suggested by CFL.
“The mission of our first State convention is to continue the momentum created by Dr. Paul ‘s Presidential campaign and to harness local grassroots activism by building a unified statewide political action network, which will better, utilize our resources and talent base to effectively return our state and federal governments to their constitutional roots.
The plan is to hold quarterly state conventions, which will provide the necessary personal interaction and network building, expert training, moral and physical support needed to accomplish our national, regional and statewide goals.
Our organization is close to obtaining a 501 (C) 3 status (FAQ). This status allows the MassLPA Inc. to raise funds and hold events. We are also in the process of upgrading our website to create an interactive venue for visitors that are searching for or contributing current information on local, state, regional and national issues and a calendar of action events. “
CFL needs to open the books, total transparency is very attractive and generates trust which leads to generosity.
We need to take back our states and the country will follow.

but I'm sending a loud, clear message to C4L that this was my last one until something changes over there. It's bad enough we have to tolerate the Money Masters living in secrecy and without public transparency and I'll be damned if I'll tolerate it from our own ranks.

there often and I remember pleading with them to get off their butts and support Chuck Baldwin after RP endorsed him but I felt as though I were in an isolation tank or something.
I still don't understand that unless they are still hoping for some miracle to occur and Dr. Paul jumps back in.

C4L, then you do not trust Ron Paul, as he is the leader of C4L and the staff are people he trust. He got rid of those in the presidential campaign that are not trustworthy or so competent, like Lew Moore. It is not a PAC as such, Dr. Paul already has a PAC since years, called Liberty PAC.

Certainly Bob Barr, Ralph Nader and Chuck Baldwin have as they are all currently using Money Bombs and Tote Board Totals on their websites.
Liberty supporters have shown great interest and have contributed with their dollars when Money Bombs are run and run correctly.
For example, B.J. Lawson's Money Bomb on October 7th raised $177K and oh by the way his website is first class and has a tote board.
Come on John, if you cannot get a Tote Board up and running then at least update the total dollars raised every six hours and post the totals at the top of the CFL site. This is critically important if the Money Bomb is to succeed over this weekend and into early next week.

Sounds like a good idea..
But if we are all tapped out of paper. Then we can spend our time. Perhaps the C4L should make a concerted effort to post everything online and then we can sign up for districts. Make the call lists overlap several times so that if you can report results of your doing to them. Always ask the simple question, "Has anyone tried to speak to you about these issues lately?" This will help to find out who signed up for a district and did not do their calling. Make it all transparent and then it should work. Money bomb ONLY when you CANNOT GET ENOUGH VOLUNTEERS!!!

Has anyone herelost one of your jobs lately? Good lend some time to this cause. Take some very amateur video of what you are doing. Post your door to door results as well as the amount of time you spent on the job and we will set up a money bomb donation to you! There are so many people here who are delivering pizzas and wish they could go door to door and talk about this instead. You may not get a "raise", but you should be able to eat tomorrow. Hopefully pay a couple bills. Draw welfare & not pay income tax! You will live off of donations while you dedicate your time to spreading the message! I through the welfare in their just to further the message towards big guberment and let them know, "Hey, we better do something about this." Tens of thousands of people drop out of the taxable bracket. They raw welfare (don't be ashamed- we are ALL on welfare subsidies, most of us dont know it though) which further drains the life of the beast. We spend our days spreading the message of how to take down the beast and fix the problems in a healthy productive way.
Are there any really, really rich people here that can afford to sponsor a Dp'er? Use the model that got us all sponsoring asome poor child for $30 a month from Timbuctoo. We might cost a little more but at least the money wont go to pay all of the overhead..

Beware... if you wish your money to count best, and for your local candidate who is locked in a titanic struggle, as many are, or you wish to see a different presidential outcome than that predicted by the media, and that also predicted by (shocker) CFL!!! then send your hard earned and limited funds directly to your candidate of choice... until CFL can document how many members have paid into the $35 membership, how many staff are drawing how much in salery, and EXACTLY how much and where this money bomb will end up... dollar by dollar!!
Though a yeoman's job so far has been performed, CFL leadership is unelected by the grassroots, you may not know this, but is acting somewhat to distance themselves from the RON PAUL 'brand', is becoming a top down new party, and dedicated to do the same thing other past and not-present-anymore groups have done many times in the past, and that is not avail themselves of the tremendous grassroots talent already grown from the Ron Paul campaign... a campaign which we all pray and hope against hope can still somehow, by a miracle prevail, YES even in this upcoming presidential debacle... and if not Paul added to the ballot in place of third party candidates, then the Constitution Party prevail... how? By utilizing the tremendous 2/3 majority now available in the masses of America, who do not want the Dem or Repubs to win!!! Did noone catch the significance of Ron Paul's third party newsconference, or Lou Dobbs announcement last winter that he was predicting an independant win for the presidency??
YET, have we heard any word from the CFL since Dr. Paul's endorsement of Baldwin and the Constitution Party? Nary a word, and nary a money bomb for that party so exactly akin to our hopes for revival of the rule of law! WHY??
We were told to stop short with months to go and look far into the future... when the passage of every minute brings us closer to death of freedom, of the dollar, of liberties, and in the final analysis, of the nation. Destruction is now upon us friends, the chains are clanking and the horses of the soldiers of oppression, be they financial or be they physical, knock on every door. The people of other lands cry out, already succumbing to this blight of Feudal/Serf oppression, in the overthrow and capture of their banks, in the destruction of their medium of exchange, with few able or willing to speak out against the onslaught.
The hero President of Iceland has done so, bravely calling the spade a spade, refusing to subject his people and the people's treasury to a slave burden so egregious as to be forced to bail out the tyrants banks on their soil. Three cheers to him, for a stand which places the debt where it belongs, directly in the laps of those who incurred it, the gamblers of international bankers, the IMF, the World bank, the Fed, and all their stock holders.
Meanwhile the sheeple here at home allow themselves to be saddled with this theft, this burden of debt properly belonging to the CRF folks. And what has the CFL done to change the immediate outcome? They are in silence hoping not to offend the GOP, as many attempt to gain status in the party!

We emptied our pockets for the Presidential Campaign.
We spent the rest going to the Rally for the Republic and the Summit, and did it during the peak of high gas prices.
We scraped the barrel and sent some more to Lawson's campaign.
Our stock is down.
There isn't much left.
We need to work on deepening the well.
Start a local chapter of the Republican Liberty Caucus and start recruiting local Republican to the cause. That's the best answer I have found.
