I kind of feel sorry for this guy but it has provided some insight into the mind of the leftist.
This guy thinks the progressive income tax is wrong. He would rather see a flat tax. The left keeps screaming "This guy will do better under Obama's tax plan". They don't seem to understand that many people see a progressive income tax as immoral. I am one of those people. I would rather pay more under a fair plan then less under a progressive system. The reason is pretty simple. We are all individuals and should be treated equally under the law. A progressive tax pits people against each other. A flat income or sales tax pits the people against their government.

I disagree with a flat ""percentage tax...$10 to a 100$ income means a lot more than $100 means to a $1000 income ....The two incomes have to put meat on the table before anything else...A .Product tax is the best way to be fair... Both incomes pay for neccessity items first, what is left can be invested or spent on luxury...So your luxuries would have the higher tax & you can choose to buy or not to buy....Similar to what used to be fair property tax rates untill this tax was leveled to offset the higher end market houses...THIS IS what was intended by you forefathers ...

and I agree with him. Fees and tarrifs are all you need to fund a constitutional governement. But until we get there we can limit the damage with something like you specified.

It wasn't at a scheduled event. Obama was just walking around canvassing. There was barely news reporters with him.
Besides why attack a citizen for asking a question? This guy sounds like he would be a Ron Paul supporter if he learned about him.
