Police storm troopers in suits of black body armor, armed with clubs and grenade launchers, swept through a riverside park in the United States of America, arresting and kidnapping everyone in their path, in absolute violation of the United States Constitution.

"Ladies and gentlemen, you are now under arrest. Please sit down and place your hands on top of your head," the stormtroopers blasted through a bullhorn repeatedly, as they marched through the park.

Kidnapping: whoever confines or removes from one place to another, any person without the person's consent, is guilty of kidnapping and may be sentenced to imprisonment for not more than 20 years or to payment of a fine of not more than $35,000, or both - Minnesota Code 609.25

Imagine if this was you!

Three people enjoying a bicycle ride through the park had a video camera with them and were able to capture the police storm troopers closing in around them; Kyle Keyser and his friends, Haydee and Justin.

It did not matter if you were a protester, journalist, or taking a walk through the park, all people were ordered to the ground and arrested. The people were zip tied and held in long lines of hundreds, waiting to be taken away. The people were, processed, fingerprinted, and thrown in jail and the police placed a ransom on them, charging the people with "Unlawful Assembly." Image of Ransom Charge

The U.S. Constitution states, Congress shall make no law abridging the right of the people peaceably to assemble.

This outright abuse of the supreme law of the United States, liberty and justice, occurred in the middle of the USA, in Saint Paul Minnesota, next to the Mississippi river - half a mile away from the Republican National Convention (RNC).

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."

- Thomas Jefferson, author of the United States Declaration (July 4, 1776), third President of the United States of America.

Apparently we are at the point where there is very little choice left, but to begin watering the tree of liberty with the blood of tyrants.

Once again

A half truth is a half lie. I call BS. Just like the youtube kid. Its like beating a kid up then getting charged for the beating when before that same kid was raping your baby sister. Come on. Who do you think we are? Where is the first half?

So for me to get all fluffed up about this I must
1) Believe that the stormtroopers said hey lets go arrest people for no reason. (Wild hair up the ass)
2) Marched down to the park and then said this is a good place. Lots of people, most just riding bikes.
3)Then proceeded to arrest everyone in plain sight?
Really? Is that how it went down?

They were probably after protesters.

But that doesn't give them the right to arrest everyone.

Ron Paul's Convention Speech

Where's the context?

Oh, you expect me to believe a group of random people walking through a park were surrounded by riot police.... for NO reason?

1) Where did this take place?
2) When did this happen?
3) What else was going on in the vicinity?
4) What were they doing 10 minutes before this?
5) Why were they VIDEO-TAPING this if it was unexpected?

Give me a friggin' break!

Sempiternal- You were there

Sempiternal- You were there when this happened? If so I would like a detailed description of what happened from your perspective. Did you take any pictures? How is it that you were not arrested too? Please, this is important.

I wrote an article that covered it a little:

http://www.ireport.com/docs/DOC-77653

It was just a regular park next to the river. A huge amount of police officers, hundreds of them, started walking towards it. They surrounded the park and then started closing in on it herding all the people at the park into one big group next to the river edge. At the same time, U.S. Coast Guard boats were going up and down the edge of the river, next to the park, as if to block anyone off from swimming across the river - as if that would happen.

The officers just started arresting everyone in their path and closing in on a large group of people that they had corralled into a circle. If you turn up the volume on this video I posted, you can hear the police telling everyone through a bullhorn over and over again, just like the title says:

"Ladies and gentlemen, you are now under arrest. Please sit down and place your hands on top of your head."

So everyone in the park sat down and put their hands on their heads. Eventually it looked like they were all arrested and being held in a big long line in the street - you can see this image in my article above.

Most cities require a permit

Most cities require a permit for this kind of thing, which applies regardless of political leanings. Did they have a permit?

I feel that permits are an infringement on rights

You must ask permission to assemble peacefully? I know the answer is, yes, most places. But it is wrong! Who decides when a crowd has reached assembly level?

Sad.

This video has had an enormous impact on me. The idea that a person can no longer ride a bicycle through a public park grossly contradicts our nation's founding principles

Someone recently posted about how many new accounts DP gets each day. So for the newbies, I want to make sure that you see this video that all but screams of what America has become. You won't see this on the evening news.

LOL

It took a whole regiment of Stormtroopers to take down these bikers. LOL What an impact.

(No subject)

can you imagine.. if we the people showed up to an event ...

to protest... and we were all dressed in riot gear of our own?? I mean bullet proof vests.. gas mask the works.... wow.. the storm troopers would be like virtually powerless... now that would make for some good video footage....

Yes, I was thinking the same thing.

How about if protesters showed up with rifles slung on their backs, would the police be so quick to react in violation of the Constitution?

Or has bearing arms pretty much been banned everywhere except the wilderness?

Ron Paul's Convention Speech

Find out......

Those who were part of that Platoon of Storm Troopers, get names, and report them to news agencies. We need to ask them why are they doing this? Do they know they are violating laws and are abusing there power.
We need to talk to these storm troopers, why would they follow such orders and arrest those who are not armed, non-violent, and who are just on bikes in a park!

Because they were given orders.

We need to focus on the leaders, as posted in the above.

No that's just the way it is, we need to focus on leadership.

The officers are told what to do and they do it, and I'm sure most of them have been convinced that what they are doing is right.

You have to remove the corrupt leadership.

Or even better the control of the money that is perpetuating the corrpution of the leaders -- the Fed banks.

Sounds familier. Welcome to NAZI Germany.

We really do need a centralized database with names, titles, ofenses, location, frequency etc...

I can not f'ing believe this shit! I was raised to respect cops because they are supposed to be working to protect us and keep us safe.

This is how they earned the name Pigs!

"The strongest message can be sent by rejecting the two-party system, which in reality is a one-party system with no possible chance for the changes to occur which are necessary to solve our economic and foreign policy problems." -- Ron Paul, Sept. 10, 2008

Ron Paul is my President.

I really hope

I really hope someone organizes a class action lawsuit for false arrest with the folks that had the charge dropped and takes it to the supreme court!

The current law that allows the police to detain people without charging them with a crime needs to be changed because of abuses of power like this. Maybe it should be law that if no charge is filed then the detained person gets 1000 dollars compensation for the inconvenience and trauma. It would make the police think twice before pulling this crap on people out and enjoying the park.

Also no fingerprints or DNA to be

taken till after anyone is convicted of a crime. No unconvicted person shall have their arrest entered into an arrest log.

hopfully the lawsuits will exceed

the insurance amount of the RNC. Local police commanders and Sheriffs need to lose their jobs and convicted as criminals.

Indeed, the crime here is stealing time and liberty.

Even the ones that they let go were still robbed of their most valuable assets; time and liberty!

On top of that, they were fingerprinted and put into the database.

Many were charged with Unlawful Assembly, just like these three people riding bicycles, even if they did nothing.

If you resisted arrest, then you were charged with resisting arrest!

Which brings up the crazy scenario of refusing to be arrested because you did nothing wrong, only to be arrested for resisting arrest.

What I've been reading is that the police intentionally charged most people to help prevent people from suing - they encouraged them to plead guilty in exchange for a mere fine, so they would not have to fly back to Minnesota to go to court and defend themselves.

If they plead guilty then they don't have as much to stand on for a lawsuit.

Many locals were just let go.

Ron Paul's Convention Speech

How was it unlawful

How was it unlawful assembly? Was it on private property?

No, it was a public park. I don't think it's justified.

They probably just picked a charge. These people that were riding the bikes were from Atlanta, so it's not like they would fly back to defend themselves anyway, the plane tickets would cost more than it would be worth.

What the police were doing is if you pleaded guilty they would reduce it to an infraction and you would only have to pay a fine.

At the same time, by pleading guilty it would make it difficult for you to sue, since you admitted guilt.

I have not read everything about it, but that's the impression I got so far.

The people are so well conditioned that they would rather believe that hundreds of actors were dressed up in riot gear to stage a one minute video clip - for who knows what purpose?

The people are so well conditioned that they would rather believe that 10 minutes of burning jet fuel and office fires brought down both world trade center towers in only one hour, at freefall speed. When no other steel frame skysrapers in the world have ever fallen due to fire, even when burning all day long.

Not to mention, kerosene (similar to jet fuel) burning steel stoves have never melted, even when running all day.

*sigh*

the punks would change their tune if everyone showed up to the rally with semi automatic rifles and knew how to use them. I guess they would bring tanks then wouldn't they?

Probably - civilians have been prevented from bearing real arms.

The Second Amendment is not about hunting. It's the only thing that is keeping our country from being completely taken over right now.

Globalists have control of the money and banks, control of the media and entertainment, and control of Congress.

They only thing they don't have absolute control of is the people and their arms.
