I know a lot of you here won't care, but I just wanted to share this here just in case someone does care. I came across this verse and immediately thought of Ron Paul:
"But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed." James 1:25 KJV.
Perhaps others here have discussed this verse before, but I found it encouraging even if I am taking it slightly out of context. I hope it encourages others especially during these discouraging times.

I feel liberated to have found Ron Paul and myself as a libertarian. I have never been political because deep down I know that both parties are flawed from a Christian stand point. I know Jesus would be with us today. I'm so happy to be a part of a movement that is moral and truely Christ like. What other party can say that? So proud that I can say that I'm not voting for either evil.

Liberty can only truly exist when God is recognized as the only
lawgiver, and man as subservient to his law (or call it natural law, if you will).
When men take it upon themselves to assume they are supreme and can make laws, liberty suffers.
