Very true and accurate description. She would be more open-minded than partisan hack Keith Olbermann. She should have our Ron Paul on her show.

Maddow's place in the MSM
Rachel Maddow is a smart person. However, she shares with the MSM (mainstream media) a gross characteristic of denigrating politics. Maddow can attack King George's administration with deft skill, but she sadly tends to slide into the common tactic of choosing style over substance. The issues are boiled down to party politics and personality. Case in point, the MSM have settled on looking through the dirty prism of focusing on the candidates' dispositions. Saying that Obama is cool and that McCain is hot is apparently sufficient for today's political analysis. In this dichotomy, a steady, cool disposition is favored to that of the unpredictability of a heated maverick. When politics is not brought to a higher level of discourse it degrades politics, and in turn, degrades us as the citizenry.
If it's true, that Maddow "understands what [Ron Paul] believes," then gaining converts to the campaign for liberty becomes easier.

I like Rachel Maddow for the most part, including Keith Olbermann. They both have courage and are not afraid to speak out on the issues. A rare breed in todays news world where most commentators only report political talking points.
I listened stunned one day after the presidential debates
Where I had heard Dr. Paul go off loudly and remarable against the war and I heard Olbermann and Maddow both state that all 8 republicans on stage were pro-war (there were 9 and that provided a surreal momemt during Olbermann when his mini-window actually showed all 9 of them where you could count the error).
From that moment on, the illusion of Maddow and Olbermann being great truthspeakers vanished as I clearly witnessed the partisen hackery of their REAL agenda's.
Don't be fooled. They may not be O'rielly's but they are partizen nonetheless and when push comes to show, the truth goes out the window if it is inconvenient to their liberal agenda's.

I also know that Maddow
Good Point. I also know that Maddow strongly disagrees with Ron Paul's platform to stop illegal immigration(and for those who don't know it included far more than simply just cutting off welfare). Maddow is just wrong beyond belief on illegal immigration alone, not mention all the other issues.

She may like him, but certainly doesn't agree with his economic policies. Still, that being the case, if she is saying good things about our good Dr., then I will stop bashing her. Thank you.
