We need our own Drudge Report
Because the original is very boring/neocon now and there's a niche in the market.
I used to go to Drudge often and now can't. When I do, it's boring - because he is a bit of a liar/neocon (or do I repeat myself?).
We need one. It needs to be libertarian/antiwar/antipolice state and (sorry!) but it needs to be like Drudge in that it has a wide range of stuff - gossipy and it needs a conservative sensibility. Huffpo is likewise quite gossippy, celebrity stuff - unfortunate but this is what people want.
Also, we need radio - we need media - Antiwar Radio has grown leaps and bounds - Drudge is about as radical as Katie Couric now. Lew Rockwell had a post the other week suggesting their readers create the demand for a libertarian radio show. If we supply the demand, the supply will come!!
Also, we have an army of people who can add stuff/bring it to our attention, unlike Matt Drudge who presumably does it himself.
Anybody have any thoughts - especially about radio.......?

WND is a joke
I used to go there and actually see some news stories, but in the last 6mths to a year, even in the height of the bailout votes, near about all that was on there were stories about how Obama is a muslim & other mess like that, nothing resembling real news.
I like the idea of seeing if the southern avenger could set up and manage a news site. I would also like to see more updates made on lewrockwell.com. Basically the old drudgereport spoiled me for getting news and when it went big government it left a vacuum in my news day.
Thank you Dr. Paul for making my act on what I already knew was right.

Our Own Drudge
End the drudgery! The Campaign for Liberty home page is morphing into something like that. On the right-hand column is a list of current news articles.
There is provision for members to have their own blogs, as well, and State-specific areas for local action.
Maybe we should be migrating over there. There is just too much craziness here on the DP.
Glad I'm not the only one that has noticed
The drudgereport.com is just a propaganda outlet now just like the rest of the networks and their web pages. I used to really enjoy going their for news, since actual news is so hard to find nowadays. But, it is the same propaganda that cnn or fox has and it isn't even updated much any more.
I like lewrockwell.com, but it isn't a news site as much as it is editorial.
