What's a girl ever to do?
Hey it ain't cheap putting on this little political spectacle complete with wardrobe, makeup, hair-styling, lights, cameras, props, paid plants in the audience and a compliant press, catering, transportation, lodging, entertainment, and advertisements. In short, Palin is part of the Greatest Show on Earth. You can't expect a woman of her stature to be caught dead without the "right" dress, shoes, hair, makeup, etc. (you know all of those superficial things that many women place such a high importance on--I'd like to meet one that didn't for once in my life).
What would Cosmopolitan Magazine say if she were out of fashion out there on that big political stage? What's a girl to do?

Just goes to show she is one of us. I don't own any clothes like that. But you know they would mock her for kmart clothes. She's giving them back to be auctioned off. Bet they turn a profit. Sounds like a good move to me.
