It seems like you have to you the K.I.S.S principle and add a little humor to get anyone's attention. Perhaps I just have a bad attitude, but after seeing what the voting population has done in MD. over the years, many of them can't be to sharp. Years ago they took that Schaffer guy who was mayor of Baltimore for a long time and they elected him to be governor. He took a state with a huge surplus and drove it in to the ground with a huge deficit for his first term. Then they re-elected him to make it even worse. That's not the worst of it. After the state comptroller passed away, they gave the job to that jackass and things just went downhill from there. What are these people thinking. We have two of the worst senators, and some not so great congressmen too. I say kick them all out on their asses and start from scratch.

This type of presentation is not the typical Politico-speak and is exactly what some residents of Maryland will listen to. Marylanders are having a gag reflex at the politics-as-usual discourses. I like Mr. Bailey's presentation; he appears to be a regular guy.

I didn't like it. Makes the guy look less than professional. BJ Lawson seems like the benchmark, and he wouldn't pull such a stunt. How about Under Armour? Did you get their expressed written consent? The place where he speaks from has bad lighting and his voice echoes a bit. He also seems like he lacks confidence.

... please realize we are running this on a shoe string budget. The videographer is a high school student, as is the robber in the video. He was using his own video equipment and had no prior experience. In addition, we had no other help but just us 2 in the spot and the guy filming. On top of that, logistics and the time remaining to get something on the air precluded us from fixing all these ticky tac problems.
Besides, like another poster stated, we don't want to look all polished anyway. Paul Wellstone won a US Senate race in Minnesota 18 years ago running ads similar in quality to this, but with some humor.
