How many of you are starting to see that McCain would be better than Obama?
I don't.
From some of the posts and replies I'm reading here some folks seem to be 'softening' to the McCain presidency... even secretly rooting him on in his bid over Obama.
If so, you've been played like a fiddle. Do you think it's coincidence that these two lame asses are the top of the ticket in each party? Do you think the division they represent hasn't been calculated? Remember when McCain took a standing eight count during the primaries? Remember the wicked witch of Arkansas having to step aside to allow Obama safe passage to the top? Remember how many better liked (I can't say more qualified) people had to step off to allow it to get this far?
Don't think for a moment that the 'lesser of two' or 'I hate this one more than' hasn't figured into the two main candidates. They were put in place to offer two seemingly opposite ends of the spectrum, politically. In truth, they would be more of ticket..running mates, than they are opponents. They are two sides of the same counterfeit coin. Voting for one is voting for the other.
Don't make the mistake by saying, or allowing others to convince you, that 'we can't allow so-and-so to win!'. 'Don't throw your vote away!' "Too important to protest right now".... the list goes on.
I say voting for either of these two douche-bags is a wasted vote. We can't let EITHER of these assholes win and it's too important NOT to PROTEST. Protest is the only thing I have left.
Try taking that away and see what happens...

I wouldn't say he would be "better." There's a chance he wouldn't do as much damage.... despite his beliefs on foreign policy, I can't imagine him starting another war.... he might not end the current ones, but I doubt he'd start new ones...
where as Obama is more up in the air...
Still, they're both bad, and they'd both do bad things, so it's irrelevant if one would be not as bad as the other....

Considering the economic and monetary policies proposed by each of these men. I would say we have a choice between a Facist and a Nazi. Facists accept ownership of private property, except, only for the benefit of society, ie (government) whereas the Nazis preferred that the government control and own everything. You really had me going! Partly because I find myself feeling that way from time to time. I'm soooo scared of an Obama administration w/Dem Congress. Especially with Sarah Palin in the mix, making me feel all warm and fuzzy.
