Incumbent John Murtha is slipping in his bid to retain his seat in the House; he is challenged by retired Army Lt. Col. William Russell.

Let's give prominence to news like this in the hopes that we can pinpoint where our efforts can best be spent.

but so is Murtha, so I suppose I will vote for the Smaller government warmonger. Though I will be suprised if he comes within 5% of our local King of Pork. Maybe the Racist redneck thing will have some effect, and maybe the Haditha thing will have some effect, but he sure does have deep pockets and close connections.

war will not be the problem for our troops and country here soon... as Ron Paul said the troops will be forced home because the US government will not have the money to continue wars... Murtha is a socialist who likes to vote for bailing out his butt buddies on wall street! the money changers are the ones who need voted out! the waring crap will take care of its self!
