How about the "Sons of eLiberty"
To emphasis how OUR "committees of correspondence" work!
Yikes
Don't want to sound like a prude, but this is the kind of stuff that we should hold on until AFTER the election (at least on this site). The MSM, O'Reilly, Hannity would like nothing more than to get ahold of these types of blog postings and turn them "ominous" to discredit Dr. Paul and his supporters. According to the Deputy Director of National Intelligence (as posted on CNN.com) we are supposed to accept a "new definition of privacy". We need to be careful of how close we tread to the "edge".
Keep working for Dr. Paul, when he is the President then liberty and freedom will spread like wildfire.
Tar and Feather Them
Those guys are the ones who deserve it most.

Thanks for the smile
made me laugh like crazy thanks.
"Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well armed lamb contesting the vote."
agree
win or ......(can't say it), this movement should continue, we are united and god willing we will stay this way, There are over a thousand meet up groups 60000 member and god only knows how many silent supporters, how can we strengthen the ties that bind us all together. When Dr. Paul is our President will we continue in this effort or will it fall apart, he can't do this alone, he will still need our support. We will have to get even more proactive. Taking down corrupt politicians. Damn this is exciting. Sons and Daughters of the New American Revolution !!!!!!! and Ron Paul our Hope for America, Champion of the Constitution !!!!!
Declare the 16th
a formal acknowledgment of the revolution. We all know it is peaceful and gaining in strength and numbers. Formally declare it as something real, unfaltering, and will not go away.
We all say it in forums. Now say it in the MSM. Although I worry about the balance of discourse vs. a proper and respectful campaign.....BUT...I think there are enough concerned/pissed citizens out there who would agree to be 'assimilated'...bwuhahahaha
yea
get some manikin's or something
Tar and Feathers
Perhaps we can symbolically tar and feather politicians on December 16. How about a website with names and reasons?

How about this?
Tar and feather real politicians. BTW, this topic is why I chose my screen name.
Awww...
...does it HAVE to be symbolically?
I know a couple of politicians that should be...
Reluctantly, yes.
Nobody wants to see Chuck Schumer donning the black and feathery dunnage more than I. Ron Paul, however, would view this as an act of violence. Therefore, this act should be symbolic.

Keep The Links Coming
I really enjoy this topic. I want to be involved with any organization that maintains a vigilant watch over those who wish to tread on our most sacred liberty.

But be careful not sure about these guys yet!!!
I really don't think I like these guys.
Lafayette Liberty League
We started a (Ron Paul) meetup group called Lafayette Liberty League my hope was to do just what you are talking about a sustained effort to keep these ideas alive localy (Lafayette IN) I though it would be nice to link to or become a chapeter of Ron Pauls NFP organization F.R.E.E.
but I would be very interested in a non partisian National Liberty group. The problem with the Libertarian Party is that there are Liberty minded people in other political groups that I might want to support but do not feel right to do that as a Libertarian.
Plus it is so easy to just infiltrate the two big partys than it is to support the LP starting from scratch every year from the outside looking in.
I have looked in to National Liberty PAC and others that are doing some good stuff.
You are 100% right though no matter what happens in 08 this movement needs to be continued in a big and powerful way. put me on the list.
I think we should form
I think we should form something like this as a full-fledged organization that will last beyond this campaign, to help keep these ideas alive and well, and ultimately bring liberty back to America and keep it here.
What do we need to do to accomplish that? We could easily turn each of our MeetUp groups into a "chapter"...

REAL Conservative for Ron Paul
I'm gonna research this one.
I know that the Sons of Liberty orchestrated the Boston Tea Party, and they were responsible for tarring and feathering many British "place-men." Other than that, I am really starved for more of their antics. Perhaps we can find one of non-violence and respect for private property. Although I would prefer the former, Ron Paul would not.

Just finished a DVD
We used Sons and Daughters of Liberty as presenters and Loud and Proud for Liberty as producers. It was, after all, the Sons of Liberty who threw the Boston Tea Party. The final video is this one: http://www.ronpaulnation.com/?p=388
That would be cool of Sons of Liberty catches on.

Committee on Tarring and Feathering
I would recommend that everyone in the DC area rally around the Capitol with buckets of tar and bags of feathers on December 16. I think that would be in the spirit of the Sons of Liberty.
