I personally like Nader but I was impressed by Baldwin . Forget Barr he couldn't find time away from his manicure to show up for this live debate on cspan ?

It depends on where you live
I'm disinclined to endorse the "write-in" option except as a last resort. It is way too Sisyphean a battle to wage when easier and more fruitful paths await. If I can see a way around the brick wall I'm not about to try battering a hole through it with my head. Therefore, my advice remains unchanged, and your obligation to follow my advice also remains unchanged, as zero minus zero remains zero.
Therefore...
If you live in Oklahoma, you have no choice. Write-in Ron Paul.
If you live in Montana or Louisiana, rejoice! You get to vote for Ron Paul!
If you live in New Hampshire, please vote for George Phillies (the other Libertarian).
If you live in Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, The Dakotas, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming, please vote for Chuck Baldwin.
If you live in Arizona, California, The District of Columbia, or Maine, please vote for Cynthia McKinney or Bob Barr.
If you live in Connecticut, Georgia, Indiana, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, or Texas, please vote for Ralph Nader or Bob Barr.
If you can’t abide my recommendations, then, your State permitting, you could write in Ron Paul, your mom, your dog, or even Bob Barr.
But never Never NEVER vote for McBama!
This decision is rather painful for me, as it will be the first Presidential election for me (since 1976) in which I will not be voting for the Libertarian. It looks as though the Barr Campaign has burned that bridge, and it likely won’t be rebuilt until at least 2010. But still I reach out, optimistic sentimental sap that I am, and hope Barr does well in Georgia and Texas.
Then.. after Sidney and Hussein each garner less than 270 Electors while McKinney picks up DC's 3 or Baldwin picks up Idaho's 4 or Paul wins Montana's 3 or Barr sweeps Georgia's 13, Republican Electors will be loathe to let the House give the Election to Barack, and could very well compromise on a Paul/Palin ticket going into the Electoral College.
Compromise: a way for Republicans to save face and for Americans to save their Republic.

Nader
he said we need to build a strong third party an opposition party
and based on his terrific energetic campaign and 45 years of experience fighting the status quo he can do it.

Nader led me to Ron!
Believe it or not, I probably wouldn't know who RP was if it wasn't for Nader. Someone (I found out who later) left a RP DVD on my doorknob a few weeks before X-mas last year. I threw it on the counter and there it sat. I tuned into PBS one night (the good little Dem that I was) and watched and Independent Lens doc. about how Nader was blackballed out of the debates (in '04?). I picked up the DVD, threw it in, and WHa LHA!
I couldn't watch it

Ron Paul's Convention Speech
Ron Paul's Convention Speech
Baldwin and Nader too close of a tie for me
Chuck Baldwin is real presidential material. He spoke frankly, sincerely, intelligently and concisely on every question. He didn't use notes or a teleprompter. He mentioned Ron Paul 3 times!
He made it clear he believed church and state should be separate. However, he did lose me a bit with the government intervention/opinions in the pro-life, man-and-woman marriages, and border issues. I felt myself thinking "Yikes"... No government intervention ever, Chuck!
Whereas Ralph Nader, (who I believe has an IQ out of this stratosphere, like Ron Paul), was not as disarming or as personable, if you will. Although I thought he was soft on not mentioning wanting to abolish the Federal Reserve & the IRS but instead something about deregulation, nothing he said made me go "Yikes."
I sincerely liked and enjoyed both of them. I'm rooting for both of them. I see Chuck Baldwin as being young enough and gaining in popularity as a viable third party candidate for 2012 -- if America as we know it still exists by then.
But Ralphie may be on his last bid here. Without a yikes factor...
NOTE: Did anyone see the hilarious Cynthia McKinney youtube they showed why she didn't attend? What a joke she is. Thank you, for not attending. Things were 1000 times more pleasant without that obnoxious narcissitic freak. She's holding her own court by herself tomorrow morning on CSPAN2, the little princess.

I really enjoyed this debate.
I get to vote for Ron Paul in Louisiana but was impressed by both candidates.
Even though in PRINCIPLE I support Baldwins views, I believe that Nader would have a little more "umph" in dealing with the attacks that would be brought upon an OUTSIDER as president.
Both view points could work.... as long as we can set up a structure to amputate the Corporate and Banksters Stranglehold upon our elected officials.
I like the phrase that Nader used, "Separation of Church and State as well as Corporation and State.
Separation of corporation and state
I liked that allso.
Also, I Am Glad
that Baldwin got to mention that he voted AGAINST the Bush faith based initiative -

great debate - both did great ... but it reinforced my support and voting for
Chuck Baldwin!

My analysis of the debate
McKinney really shot herself in the foot for not attending. Her lengthy interview/forum on break the matrix really helped her support, only for her to loose it all by not attending. As for Barr,...3 strikes, your out! No show on RPs press conference, no show to the 3rd party audio debate on rtr radio, and now a no show to the last TELEVISED 3rd party debate....one would think that if your running for president, you may want to actually debate and get your name out there. This proves without a doubt Barr is a total shill.
Now for the debate, I think the moderator asked some good questions, but he should have gotten them to the point...he kind of rambled on way too much, and he also should have let both Nader and Baldwin finish some key points they were making instead of cutting them off,...but overall pretty good job.
Nader was not looking his best in the debate, he was reading off his notes way too often, where as Baldwin was shootin straight from the hip.
I loved Nader calling out AIPAC, I was as giddy as a school girl when he said McCain and Obama are anti-semtic towards the Palestinians. Baldwin basically did the same but in the broader view...by explaining that all funding will be stopped for all countries.
I like and respect both of them, but Nader I still don't see him getting the big picture. When the bailout was brought up, Baldwin immediatly said how we need to abolish the federal reserve...while Nader, kind of danced around it saying the stock holders of the fed should be given more oversight or some crap. Abolishing the federal reserve is the key to restoring the republic, no ifs, ands, or buts about it.
I believe both men are qualified to hold a position in government,...but after this debate, my support is still behind Chuck Baldwin. Sadly he is not on my states ballot..only Ralph Nader...so, by murphys law I will be voting Nader.

I was also very dissapointed that Mcinney didn't show up ,

The DP is proof that the grassroots support for Ron Paul and his peaceful message of individual liberty is large, real, and not going away!
She wanted a debate on HER terms;
Nader and Baldwin found common ground and made it happen.

Don't be disappointed
I've watched her shenanigans since 2002 and I sincerely believe she is a sociopath. Check out her voting record (pro-war spending, etc.) and you will see she is just all about running her big, loud mouth and getting attention when she's not crying "victim."

That's because
"I like and respect both of them, but Nader I still don't see him getting the big picture. That's because Baldwin believes that government is the problem, while Nader believes government is the answer to our problems.
One thing they said on C-SPAN
And I don't know the validity of this, but the response from Barr was that he had an appearance to attend down in Georgia and that it was the second time that something was planned without checking all the candidates schedules, first. But I agree, you would think he would show up to SOMETHING that most of us are watching. Tonight was a perfect time to catch some people who were watching C-SPAN.
I believe more poeple were watching C-Span;
than the number of people attending that venue.
Remember Ron Paul flying from NH on short short Notice to apprear on Jay Leno's show? NO EXCUSE!

I would'nt piss on Bob Barr if he was on fire
His excuse about an event he had to appear at is 100% lame.
Whats more important, to appear at an event of maybe, say...a few hundred....or be on a televised debate which would reach hundreds of thousands more, and get your views out to more possible supporters? Even if his excuse is true, it would just show how illogical he is anyway.
VOTE CHUCK BALDWIN

haha a Bob Barr troll called in & said he didn't like either one
Still on the CIA/DEA payroll, I guess.

NO Excuse
Unless someone died you don't miss the opportunity to be in a televised debate. He doesn't want to be the president, he is there to divide.

Good points
I was impressed that Nader knew that the Arabs and Jews are Semites. Not a lot of people realize that. I loved his answer about that.

Let us keep in mind..
...Both gentlemen and their adherence to respect of one another. There were no ad-hominem jibes, digs, pandering, faces, smooth talking or preaching. Refreshing, really.
So, lets example that here and elsewhere. No matter which way you lean, I think both candidates exampled why we must unite where and when we can unite.
It is simply too important to vote for either candidate than for McBama.
Ralph will probably garner more votes than Chuck based upon name recognition in the third party arena. But, it is the total 3rd party vote that is important to push higher. I long for the day when voter turnout creeps above 50% and the split is 20/20/10....then 15/15/20! It will be that moment that Americans would unite around one third party candidate and realize that we are the majority when it comes to third party platform.
p.s. Atheist for Chuck.
What about that poll?
I think Chuck's Name was omitted for a REASON, much like the so called OFFICAL polls when Ron Paul was still formally running. I truely believe there are more Ron Paul supporters who will follow Ron's Advice and vote for Chuck Baldwin than many are giving him credit for. I do beleive it is a race between Nader and Baldwin. My mother ALWAYS votes for a Democratic, but she will most likely vote for Nader this year.

I agree
they were both gentleman and behaved like someone who is qualified to lead this country; not those spoiled babies in the other debates.
I think Chuck should put Nader in some position in his cabinet. Nader does have a lot of good ideas and I believe he would be beneficial.
