***TRUTH IN the "11th hr. TV show last night?*** WOW!
I was blown away by that show - first time I saw it.
They talked about GM (genetic modified) food, how messing with nature has it's consequences; how Monsanto is involved...
I had just read yesterday that when a farmer is utilizing his own seeds - not the GM Monsanto hybrid seeds, Monsanto will buy up the surrounding farms, plant their poison, and when they cross pollinate with the "real" seeds, file suite for patent infringements. The one farmer who reported this won his suit, but how many didn't?
So MANY statements which are true but would go over the heads of the uninformed who do not know our food supply is being manipulated.
I believe the star is a chemist who assists in solving the unexplainable using his knowledge of science.
Anyone else see this?
First time I saw it too
I couldn't stop watching cause it was exactly on target with what we know the corporation/government is doing. I couldn't believe they'd add in the genetically altered scorpion, but they stopped short of implicating any compromised government officials. The FBI agent chick also said the Patriot Act was a good thing multiple times. They can't stop throwing stuff in our face.
I have been watching the new show "Fringe" on Fox. Every show is about how some shadowy corporations are experimenting on humans. Last episode humans were made into living microwave bombs. I wouldn't past anything past these bastards after they showed 9/11 five months before on the pilot of "the lone gunmen"
On a funny side note South Park's most recent episode has a funny take on a pan-(flute)-epdemic.

They do put the truth out
there but it goes over most people's heads, just as we all agree.
Obama puts the truth out there all the time. If there is a mis-quote, he always explains it away, very eloquently, I might add.
I think that's messed up
I used to be big on organic food but I read somewhere that organic is only sustainable to feed 4 billion people worldwide and we have 6 billion and climbing. So pretty much we could feed everyone but China.

when talking about color additives, he read on the label of his "green" item, "contents are natural" and then said, "FDA says that term [means nothing] or words to that effect.
Otherwise, because a product says "natural" that means there are still chemicles allowed in the product which are not controlled.
I've read about this some time back also. "natural" "light" "sugar free" are just buzz words.

Yah..I saw it..there were
Yah..I saw it..there were some good quotes. The main thing was, that everytime they wanted to snoop somewhere that would need a warrant BEFORE, they just said the Patriot Act made it possible for them to do it without one. That came out twice, but probably flew right by most everyone's head..
That show
brought into the public eye what we've known but am sure most people thought nothing about it - fiction?
The good news is they put it out there and WE can draw their attention to it. Jerry Brunkheimer (sp?) produced this and many of his productions put the truth out there. So why is Hollywood so gun-ho over Obama?
I think he also did Lions to Lambs (movie). When I saw it, half the audience got right up and left (from their dissappointment/comments - I know they did not get it), the other half, who got it, like me, sat in our chairs - just stunned at the stark truth we'd observed.
