Reasons to ban Fedor and his associates
Let's use this thread to build a case against Fedor and his cronies.
Please be careful to focus only on those that are actively pushing the socialist/communist ideas that Fedor has, and not those that merely agree or support it.
The main one that I know of that's been his buddy all along is jshowell. I just saw a comment today mentioning think4yourself as being another one.
This is a website about freedom and free markets. Opposing opinions are not a problem, but when users attempt to force them on us and try to break us down into agreeing with their anti-freedom ideas, I think it's time to ban them.
For those of you who think this might be anti-free speech, think again. A website is property like anything else. This is Michael Nystrom's website, and he has every right to ban anyone he wants for any reason he wants. We can't ban anyone (it's not our property, and we haven't been delegated that right), but we can ask him to. I assume Nystrom's purpose for this website is either related to supporting the Campaign for Liberty, and/or to make money. Either way, users like Fedor are potentially reducing both possible goals. Some users will eventually get tired of it and stop coming to the site, reducing the sites effectiveness at promoting freedom, or if there's less visitors, then Nystrom will make less money. (I don't think he's really making much from this site anyways)
I think the pro-liberty thing to do is ban Fedor. Why tolerate Fedor here, when we probably wouldn't tolerate someone preaching socialist stuff to us at a pro-liberty rally? We'd have security escort them out so we could carry on with our business in a real life scenario. But on a website we just let them disturb us all they want?
It's so ridiculously obvious their goal is to derail our movement!
Please post any additional reasons to ban Fedor and his cronies! Please include links to threads and comments to prove points, if they're still available and time allows.
We can focus better on important things if they are no longer distracting us.
Hopefully Michael Nystrom will take notice and take action.

Excuse me, but I am not one of "Fedor's associates". And I am not "one of them". And just because someone else thought so doesn't make it so. This is ludicrous.
Besides, how could anyone "force" ideas upon others on a forum anyways? If you don't like it, don't read it. If you disagree with this "Fedor" character, why are you keep reading what he says?

I understand you're joking, but I have nothing against Fedor. I'm just doing what I can (without violating rights) to try to prevent him from purposefully keep feeding people nonsense. I think that since he has insisted on pushing collectivist ideas, regardless of how many times he's shown they are flawed, then it's time seek action against his access to this site. He's counter-productive to this site and any movement towards liberty.

He's been causing a distraction here since he signed up a few weeks ago. I think it's counter-productive to continue allowing him to participate here, and therefore am promoting that he be banned from DP, unless some more effective way to deal with him is brought up. There's negative consequences for allowing him to continue (and he clearly intends to). He's backed off in the last few hours, so I was hoping this thread would calm down for as long as he's not pushing his collectivist ideas.

I dont agree with Fedor- but quite honestly id much rather have fedor than social (who was banned i assume for over-the-top flaming with fedor) simply because as annoying as fedors OPINIONS are- he still manages to be respectfully irritating. Its unfortunate that social couldnt cool his temper.

Fedor and his buddies have backed off, at least for a few hours or so (may not last?), so unless they start up, I see no reason to keep this thread active, but I don't want it deleted.

I personally dislike Fedor's
I personally dislike Fedor's behavior and believe him to be annoying.
HOWEVER...I support NOT removing him. I believe this site self regulates and teaches us how to deal with all levels of society...all belief systems. We are honing tolerance tools that many times we are shielded from in our controlled society.
In this marketplace of ideas called the Daily Paul...the good ideas will rise and gain favor and the bad ones will lose favor. The debates will rage...sometimes in very heated and emotional ways. Names and curse words will fly. You know what though...the free market of ideas on this site will self regulate.
Example is my slow movement to feeling pretty bad for trashing of Fedor with names. The more I think about it...the worse I feel about it. Nobody has forced me to feel this and decide to act differently. I had to take responsibility for my own action.
So I personally apologize to Fedor and JSHowell(I think that is right) for being so nasty. I still don't agree with you and definitely do not agree with your tactics, but for my part of it...I'm sorry...I'm done(unless I get real liquored some night and come unglued for an evening :D).

"Mob-ocracy" is a loose term to mean ...
"mob" rule, as in democracy, where the greater number rules, no matter what the law says, i.e., as opposed to a republic that is ruled by law - in our case, the Constitution being the law.

I am certainly not going to defend socialism, since I don't believe it is freely accepted by people. If it was, then there would be no need for the military. If something were truely good, then I believe people would be drawn to it without being forced.
This is why the system we have in the U.S. today is not good, we are forced to share the product of our work with the government and state. We do not freely give to the government or state, we are force, by penalty of imprisonment, if we do not turn over a share of our product. That is socialism, whether you call it by another name such as facism or nazism or keynesianism or socialism. My point is and was only that facism, nazism, keynesianism and socialism differ from communism in that there is an absence of a state, it is a form of anarchy. So true communism, if it is even possible, would have to be a free association of free people to freely give and to freely share their product. I can think of no community that acts in this way, so it is really just a pipe dream.
But I don't deny people their freedom to dream if this be their dream.
Have you ever read, "The Kingdom of God is within you" by Leo Tolstoy?
The first part of the book is rather stale, but in the later part of the book he comes down heavily with good arguements against the state and government.
