We could be on the cusp of something tremendously great if you will just hang in there. I'm dirt poor right now too but I think of others before myself. That is how we get though tough times. Focus on how much others too are suffering. Try to help them.

We all may go to a real rough time economically soon. Most people on the DP seem to be self-employed and running a small business and thereby know about difficult times. You are not not alone!

Freedom brings People together

Mike, suicide is not a good option. You'd make the news alright, but I seriously doubt that it would help our freedom movement. The media would end up painting all of us as unstable and dangerous people. Don't do this. It's romantic in a sick way, but totally unproductive. Get some help, please. I can't pretend to know you or what you've been going through, but I do know that killing yourself isn't going to get us one step closer to freedom. It would just tighten security at the Capitol steps and start a witch hunt. We need to show that we're correct, not insane.

Long answer......You'll be called a nut/terrorist and when they find out you're an RP supporter, you'll give all the rest of us a bad name too. (How's that for a little self-interest on my part?)

Small business owner here, too.....Business has gone off a cliff in the last 30 days. I'm re-grouping and changing focus to capture a different segment of my market (less money, much more stability). We can hang in there at least another 6 months and probably much longer. The EZ money is gone for now, but I'll never give up and let them win. If that back-up plan doesn't work, I've got another....I come from a long line of poor folks and we've always found a way to make things work.

I don't WANT to be poor, but can survive it as needed. You can too.

Mike, I hope you're not seriously thinking about doing this. If you are, please don't. Your friends here at the DP do care.

I'm not sure how it happened, but I can believe about losing $5k in one day. That's terrible, but is not worth losing your life over.
