Rhino: The Ron Paul Awards

Of course this would be an awards banquet that honors people that have furthered the cause of freedom.

It would be an annual banquet.

Maybe even a fundraiser for the C4L.

C-span may want to cover it, if it is done well.

Let's here some topics .....

Here is mine:

Blog Award: Mr. Nystrom for the Dailypaul.

We could have a few lifetime achievement awards for the seed planters that are no longer with us. (Mises, Rand, Friedman, etc.)

There should be a formal dinner banquet for the presentations and a rockin bash afterwards for all comers.

if you have a blog.. or can put it on one.. (perhaps extrapolate a bit..) it would get the word out....

Best Campaign Poster, Best Blog, Best Ron Paul Website, Best (all over the country) City/County/State representatives, Best Ron Paul Food Item (I say RP cola!), Best non-Fiction Book, etc!

and rooting out well-deserving people/pols, books, blogs, handouts, artists, t-shirt messages, bumper stickers, etc., and publicizing them would be excellent.

Rhino....that's a great idea! Can see it now, kind of like Oscars or maybe 'Jefferson' award or some other symbol of liberty ;) Seriously, there could be several categories and place to honor elected officials too. All along the Liberty theme of course. I could imagine RP, modest as he is wanting to call it something else.

a good idea. I think it should be focused on the common men and women who took that step into becoming precinct leaders and running for office with the Ron Paul message. Also, those who made videos, music and t-shirts that got the message out. Those who wrote letters to the editors and called into tv and radio shows to get out the message. It should be like the rally for freedom keeping that positive eternal light of truth alive. Dark days are ahead let truth show us a way through the maze of propaganda and confusion. Peace
