I Love You Guys

A little over a year ago... I stumbled upon Dr. Paul's website and was so encouraged to see a candidate that stood for everything I believed in... the last candidate I can remember really rooting for was Ross Perot... but at the time I wasn't old enough to vote.... However, I was so pleasantly surprised and amazed that we had a network through the meetup groups and then I found Daily Paul... I always somehow felt like I was alone out there in my sentiments about personal liberty, freedom and the Constitution. It was and has been very nice that there are so many of you out there that believe in these things... I do have to say I do feel as if you are my brothers and sisters...

It's strange... Even though most of us have never really met each other, and even though all we know each other by is text on a screen, I still feel like I have true friends here. It makes me sad that the movement has slowed since Ron Paul's presidential campaign ended, but there are still a lot of people on this site who are part of the core movement. There have been at least a couple of times when discussions on this site have been so stimulating and thought-provoking that it really changed my way of thinking and opened my mind to new ideas and possibilities. The people on this site have actually changed my life, and I'm glad to be a part of all of this.

I think it's interesting the two drugs that are legal - alcohol and cigarettes, two drugs that do absolutely nothing for you at all - are legal, and the drugs that might open your mind up to realise how you're being fucked every day of your life? A choice, right now, between fear and love. The eyes of fear want you to put bigger locks on your doors, buy guns, close yourselves off. The eyes of love, instead, see all of us as one. Here's what you can do to change the world, right now, to a better ride. Take all that money that we spend on weapons and defence each year, and instead spend it feeding, clothing and educating the poor of the world, which it would many times over, not one human being excluded, and we could explore space, together, both inner and outer, for ever, in peace.
