WVA Vote Flipping Caught on Tape

Video the Vote went to Jackson County, WV, in response to numerous reports of machine vote flipping. The local county clerk showed us the machines in question, but the demonstration left us with serious questions, as the machine continued to malfunction even after it was calibrated.

Notice the candidates it switches to. Maybe we do have a chance, Or they are just trying to make us feel better. LOL

at the craptacular quality of these so-called voting machines. How the fetch does a high-class piece of electronic equipment, entrusted with helping Americans choose the government of the free world, get uncalibrated every time someone uses it?

I'd be ticked if my local elections office spent tens of thousands on each of those machines.

What was wrong with paper and pencils again???? We use paper ballots here in Alaska just fine. They work! It's amazing how easy it is to just fill in a little bubble next to your guy's name, and slip that ballot into the box, knowing it was not done in vain.

calibration?

Calibration would imply an electro mechanical mechanism, there is none in this type of electronic voting machine, just software i.e... code.

How does this require calibration?

It's a BS distraction issue. Just because the touchscreen is/isn't calibrated properly doesn't mean that votes can/can't be flipped(stolen). I could program that thing so you'd see Ms. Pac-Man on screen and still be racking up votes for whomever I wanted to in the background. Paper trail you say? Sure, I could give you a paper receipt for your 'vote' but still tally it differently.

THE ONLY WAY TO HAVE A TRUE AND HONEST ELECTION WITH THE ABSOLUTE MINIMUM OF OPPORTUNITY FOR FRAUD IS TO DO IT ON PAPER.

Um, my ballot only has Ms. Pac Man on it. What do I do?

Where did the inncorrect votes go? So they callibrate the machine. Did it delete the incorrect vote?
What kind of mess will that cause at the voting booths. Quite a slow down. Who may not get to vote before the polls close?
Is what you see what you get? Need a reciept!
We would be better off voting from home on our computers or by mail.Certified mail.

I'm glad I don't have to use one of those machines. But I do have to use a optical scan and I don't trust those much either. But at least there is a paper ballot that can be counted still.

Optical scans don't worry me so much. Getting a recount is very easily possible with the paper ballots. Getting a recount on a touch screen is worthless.
